15–27 August 2021 – puppies leaving for their new homes
During these 14 days, the beloved and carefully cared-for puppies started to leave for their new owners and families, heading to their new homes. This time, almost all of them went to Moravia, with the exception of Cecilka, who was the last to leave and set off for Eastern Bohemia. Saying goodbye is always very sad, but at the same time full of hope and anticipation for the beautiful canine life that awaits them. There is hope that they will be looked after exemplary and that they will bring nothing but joy to their new owners, remaining faithful and loving companions. Wishing all the best, little ones!
10 August 2021 – last group posing at seven weeks
This year has somehow gone by exceptionally fast. The puppies are seven weeks old and will soon start leaving for their new homes. So here they are, probably for the last time, all nicely together.
3 August 2021 – six-week-old puppies in front of a professional lens for the first time
At last, our son Štěpán found the time to take a few snapshots with the puppies. It’s no fun trying to get them all in the frame, they’re gone in a second, dashing off in every direction :-))
20 July 2021 – one month after birth
At last the owners let the puppies outside for some fresh air. They are already getting to know each other, playing and squabbling. They have been dewormed for the second time, are already eating soaked kibble, and keep growing and growing. Apparently, the first interested visitors are coming to see them this week. Hopefully no one thinks they will be moving anywhere! They are having a wonderful time together!
13 July 2021 – today we are three weeks old
Most of the time is still spent sleeping, feeding, stretching our little legs from time to time, and then going back to sleep. Our humans have been giving us a little extra Royal Canin powdered milk since the second week, and we really like it. Today, for the very first time, we will also taste a porridge made from chicken meat. Hopefully it will be good :-), because even though mum Aura has plenty of milk, we want to make things at least a little easier for her. Our humans have also already chosen names for us. We still have to draw lots for them, because once we get our chips, they can’t be changed anymore. The girls can be named Carmen, Cecilka, Celestýna and Cora, and the boys Casper, Cristian, Cyrano and Cyril.
Oh, and today we also had our very first photo shoot!
5 July 2021 – 14 days in this world
The puppies can already see and are trying to move around on all fours, even though they are not very good at it yet. They are starting to become aware of and observe their surroundings and perceive both images and sounds. They eat well and are gaining weight nicely, but we will gradually start supplementing them with puppy milk from a bottle, because their appetite is greater than what their mum Aura is able to provide. Older Bernadetta would love to help with nursing; her milk came in as soon as she found out that Aura had offspring. But Aura is not letting her anywhere near her puppies just yet, not a chance :-)
22 June 2021 – today our “C” litter puppies were born
During the night from Monday to Tuesday, Aura gave birth to 9 black puppies – 5 boys and 4 girls. The birth of our first-time mother started around 10 p.m. Unfortunately, the little boy who wanted to see the light of this world first had a very long and difficult journey which, despite all efforts, he did not manage to complete. Fortunately, it was easier for the other puppies and by five in the morning Aurinka had successfully finished everything. Welcome, little ones, may you grow well and in good health!

Parents of Litter "C"
From the combination of Aura and Vinie, black puppies will be born that should have top-quality conformation, an excellent, calm, non-confrontational temperament, and great working potential. She has become a multiple winner of Best of Breed "BOB" at club and international shows, and a multiple holder of the titles "BOS", "BOJ" and "CACIB", as well as the titles "Club Winner", "Special Show Winner", "Regional Winner". Arwen has achieved the highest possible show award, the title Best in Show ("BIS"), and is also a multiple holder of the title res. BIS. She has several times become the best working dog of the show (BIS working dog). She has placed among the winners of FCI Group VIII and became BOD at a national dog show. She is a Junior Beauty Champion of three countries, a Beauty Champion (adult) of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Austria, and also a Grand Champion of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. At just 3 years of age she became holder of the international titles C.I.B. and C.I.E. At two years old she received the prestigious awards Best Flat Coated Retriever Bitch of 2016 for both Czech clubs KCHLS and Retriever Klub CZ, and Best Dual Purpose Dog in the Breed 2016. At three years old she was awarded Best Retriever of 2017 in the Czech Republic (of all retriever breeds), and for the FCR breed she became Best Dual Purpose Retriever 2017, Working Bitch 2017, Show Bitch 2017 (under KCHLS), as well as Best FCR 2017 (Retriever Klub CZ), Best FCR Bitch 2017 (Retriever Klub CZ), and she also became Dog of the Year 2017 (ČMKJ) for the FCR breed. Her show results testify to the highest quality of her conformation. Arwen is a bitch used every year in practical hunting. She is also successful in the field of working tests, having successfully passed several hunting tests, usually in 1st prize (OVVR, KPZ, KZVP, KLZ), including the highest hunting tests KVZPR. She holds the title "U", fully versatile hunting dog. In 2019 she became the Derby Kokory Winner (club autumn and water trials) and at the same time, as one of the few in the Czech Republic, she became a Czech Working Champion for hunting performance.
