Puppies from Litter B
8 – 16 January 2021 – Puppies leaving for their new homes.
During this week, hearts are filled with a mix of sadness and longing, as well as joy and hope. There is sadness in letting these beloved puppies go out into the world, knowing they will no longer be getting up to mischief together, pestering and teasing their mum Berny and trying the patience of aunt Aura. At the same time, there is joy in knowing that wonderful and patient owners have been chosen for them. There is great hope that they will grow into beautiful flat-coated ladies and strong young dog gentlemen, becoming a source of joy and love for their new families. Wishing them lots of luck in their new homes, these little darlings are already deeply missed, and there is eager anticipation for the day they are all seen again.
7 January 2021 – last group photo of the puppies
Today is the last day all the puppies are together. That is why we took advantage of the good conditions for an outdoor photo shoot. From tomorrow, our little darlings will start leaving for their new homes.
5 January 2021 – puppies seven weeks old
The furry darlings are enjoying their last week together before they all go their separate ways. Over the coming weekend they will gradually head off to their new homes. They are wonderful, incredibly clever, and all of them eagerly join in the wrestling and games with their siblings, their mum and Aura. A very difficult decision lies ahead: which brown female will stay at home for future breeding. There are two favourites and it is terribly hard to choose just one. It would be best to keep them all!
29 December 2020 – six weeks – first vaccination and microchipping of the puppies
Today the weather was relatively good, so the puppies were once again allowed to explore the outside world for a while. They were all thrilled, and our little tomcat Demi joined in their games as well. Everyone enjoyed it immensely. In the evening, however, their first unpleasant life experience awaited them – they all received their first vaccine and microchip. But they all handled it with honour and courage :-)
21 December 2020 - today we are five weeks old
Today, at five weeks, there was a big indoor photo shoot. The puppies are already starting to differ slightly in their features, both in temperament and in body, and they all already weigh over 4 kg. The new owners (well, mostly the ladies) are already coming to cuddle and enjoy the puppies. At this age they are just irresistible, like little living plush toys that no one can get enough of :-))
20 December 2020 – first time outside
The fairly decent weather was put to good use and the puppies were let out into the garden for the first time. First they had their meal and then they started exploring all sorts of little corners and getting to know the other residents as well. :-) Berny kept a watchful eye on them.
5 December 2020 – almost three weeks
At almost three weeks, all the puppies weigh around 2 kilograms, they can hear and see, and they are starting to express themselves loudly, pay more attention to their siblings, and explore their surroundings :-)
30 November 2020 – the puppies are 14 days old
Two weeks have passed since the puppies were born, which is always a demanding time, because the little ones need constant attention, even though Berny is always close by. It is necessary to watch carefully so she doesn’t lie on them, to make sure every puppy gets its share of food, and that everything stays dry and clean, with constant disinfection. Now she is starting to take breaks from them to rest, and puppy milk is being added to their diet so they keep growing beautifully. They already weigh roughly three times their birth weight. The washing machine and dryer are running almost non‑stop, the bin is filling up with disposable pads, and the sleep deficit from the first days has hopefully been made up. The puppies have already had their first deworming and nail trimming.

Black girls - Barilla and Bora
Brown girls - Bibiana, Bereta, Beatrix and Bethany
Black boys - Baron, Bernard and Benjamin
16 November 2020 – birth of litter "B"
From Monday morning Berny was restless, she wouldn’t eat and kept fidgeting and moving from place to place. In the afternoon, around 1 p.m., the mucus plug came out, after 3 p.m. the amniotic fluid, and after 5 p.m. she delivered the first little girl. Then, at various intervals, all nine puppies were born, the last one shortly after midnight. Everything went smoothly, the babies and Berny are doing well, which was confirmed by the vet the very next morning. All the puppies are nursing beautifully and little Bernadett is taking exemplary care of them. Welcome, sweethearts, and may you have lots of strength and good health in life!

The combination of these individuals should produce well-balanced puppies in both black and brown, with excellent health and conformation, as well as outstanding working abilities.
Bernadetta Blu Falaksa - Berny
At her age (6.5 years), Berny is already a very balanced, extremely calm and non-confrontational female. She likes her comfort, but she is still very active and in training and work she consistently delivers a perfect performance, even if not at the same speed as before. She loves retrieving, searching and hunting. She also enjoys working in water and with game. Sometimes she can be a bit headstrong, but most of the time the right treat fixes everything and it all goes just like it used to.
Emotion in Motion Black Brianta - Enzo
Enzo is a beautiful young black dog (2 years old) carrying the brown gene from his father. In terms of character, he is easy-going, sweet and cuddly, non-confrontational, with a pleasant temperament. In the show ring he can present himself as cheerful and lively. In work he is very meticulous, systematic, patient and quiet. He works excellently with game and has an excellent nose. At times he can also be a little stubborn, but that is a trait of almost all Flats. :-))
