25–26 July 2026 – South Moravian KCHLS Derby – KPZ and KVP for Retrievers Čejkovice
Three representatives of our kennel set off to compete for the Čejkovice Cup – Táňa, Darlene and Cyrano. For Táňa and Cyrano, the trials were meant to test their readiness for the ZPR that awaits them at the end of August. For Darlene, it was her first time at a two‑day trial, with the goal of passing the autumn trial, which she has not yet completed. Unfortunately, that did not work out. The terrains betrayed us, as she is not used to working in such conditions. In the first four disciplines, Darlene did quite well. She only ran into trouble on the feathered drag, which was laid on a disced stubble field. Unfortunately, in the heat and gusty wind she was unable to locate the game on the track. Several dogs had problems with the feathered drag, even experienced ones, including Táňa.
On the second competition day, we faced the water work. That went by without any major hesitation, except for the reed search, where fatigue probably caught up with Darlene and she did not feel like going deeper in. On the other hand, Táňa delivered a perfect performance in the reeds. However, her score was lowered again for the blind retrieve of two ducks, when she eagerly set off for the first bird without a command. Cyrano stuck to his usual standard – many disciplines in the first prize, but he also spoiled a few.
So, all in all, on both days everyone finished in the second prize, except for the autumn trial, which Darlene did not complete. Even so, there was satisfaction, because the terrains and the weather were demanding and the results reflect that. Once again there is a bit more experience, and it is clear that there can never be contentment with the feeling that everything is already mastered. :-)
13 July 2026 – welcoming a new member to the pack – Fergy
There was a decision to be made about whether to use brown Táňa for one more litter at the end of the year, when her expected heat should coincide with Darlene’s. After careful consideration, it was decided that Tánička, as a well‑deserving mother, would be left without further parental duties and that these would be passed on to Darlene. But then the question arose of how to continue the brown line in the kennel. No puppy from Táňa’s litter was kept, and Darlene will always have only black puppies. Because there is still very close contact with Aura’s breeder, Katka Švarcová, it was known that she would be mating her Limitka with a handsome, high‑quality brown male from the Netherlands. Since Limit carries the brown gene from her father, there was a strong hope that brown puppies would be born. On 5 May 2026, ten little ones were born in the Čerešňa Lipov kennel, including three brown girls. And the decision was made :-))
The beautiful thing about all this is that not only will the possibility of a brown line be preserved for the future, but Limitka also has the same mother as Aura – the wonderful Arwen – so Fergy will also carry a little piece of Aura within her.
Welcome home, little girl! Wishing a pleasant stay here and a long, happy and content life in the Panisádek pack!

4 and 5 July 2026 – shows in Klagenfurt, Austria
On the first weekend of July, three shows were held in Klagenfurt – a national show on Saturday morning, and international shows on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Originally, there was no intention to enter at all; the plan was to go to Austria only in the autumn. But after finding out that the one-year-and-one-day interval between CACAs was no longer required for obtaining the Austrian Champion title, the decision was made to head to the Alps and try their luck. Only Darlene was entered, but Táňa came along as company, with the promise of a nice trip.
Over the last 14 days, Darlene had lost at least half of her coat, so expectations were not very high. However, there was a surprise and, to some extent, a déjà vu :-) Almost exactly three years after her mother Aura earned the Austrian Champion title at the same shows, in the same hall, in the same class, with the same result, Darlene managed to do the very same.
Darlene z Panisádku – Saturday 4/7/2026, working class Ex1, CACA, judge K. Nieminen from Finland – Sunday 5/7/2026, working class Ex1, CACA, res. CACIB, judge J. Beke from Hungary
With this, Darlene completed another title, this time Austrian Champion.
At the shows there were reunions with several friends from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria. And the girls enjoyed their well-deserved rewards – walks in the city centre, swimming at the dog beach on Lake Wörthersee and a trip to Pyramidenkogel.
13–14 June 2026 – Show weekend in Bytom, Poland
Trips to Polish shows are generally very enjoyable, with the chance to meet Czech and Polish friends and to see the girls and their offspring successfully presented in the ring. This time was no different.
On Saturday, a national show took place, bringing together three two-and-a-half-year-old siblings: Darlene, Deanna (Roxy) and Dexter (living in Wroclaw). This day would certainly have brought great joy to their mum Aura, who would have been celebrating her eighth birthday and would surely have loved to do a show round with them, for the first time in veterans. Sadly, she did not live to see it. At least she was cheering and applauding them from above.
The judge from Spain, J.M. Doval Sanchez, awarded them as follows:
Dexter z Panisádku, open class VG1
Deanna z Panisádku, open class Ex1, CWC/CAC, BOB
Darlene z Panisádku, working class Ex1, CWC/CAC, Best Working Dog. With this, she fulfilled the conditions for the title Polish Champion.
The girls also advanced to the final competitions. In the Best Working Dog of the Show competition, Darlene took a beautiful third place among 12 dogs – BIS 3 working dog. Roxy did not place this time in the strong competition of FCI Group VIII.
After the show, Roxy’s owner Veronika had to rush back to Moravia, but she entrusted the little girl to be looked after. There was still time for a walk and, after an exhausting day and dinner, it was time to rest in the van. It was Roxy’s first night sleeping in the car, but together with her sister Darlene she handled it just fine :-)
The second day, Sunday, was an international show judged by M. Tobiasz from Poland. Dexter did not compete this time, but the sisters scored again. And so they would not envy each other the BOB, they simply swapped the breed win :-)
Deanna z Panisádku, open class Ex1, CWC/CAC
Darlene z Panisádku, working class Ex1, CWC/CAC, CACIB, BOB, Best Working Dog
As a reward, the girls were treated to snacks, toys and new scissors for grooming. Despite initial worries, the weather was kind on both days, there was another chance to meet friends, and the journey home was filled with complete satisfaction.
7 June 2026 – Club Dog Show Florinka Olomouc
Buddy – Emanuel z Panisádku, who lives in Olomouc and is the brother of one‑year‑old Enzo – Eduard z Panisádku, came to support us at Florinka once again. Enzo was shown in the junior class and received a rating of VG3 from Danish judge K.E. Pedersen, considering that the other dogs in the class were already a bit more developed.
Roxy – Deanna z Panisádku achieved Excellent 2, res. CAC in the open class, just like Darlene in the champions class. The sisters met their father Romeo here.
23 May 2026 – International Dog Show Litoměřice
The journey to the north of Bohemia started already on Friday, so that in Lovosice it was possible to groom Phoebe – Elisabeth z Panisádku, the one-year-old girl who was also entered, together with Darlene. The trip also included mum Táňa, so that after a longer time she could meet her daughter Phoebe again. A lovely evening was spent in the company of the Vošvrda family and the night was spent there as well.
Unfortunately, to Phoebe’s great disadvantage, she was ultimately not judged at the show, as the judge, Mrs R. Cepková, did not like her teeth – she unfortunately has a level bite. It will be necessary to wait some more time to see whether her teeth might still improve a little. Darlene in the champions class received Excellent 1, CAC, res. CACIB.
The journey back from Litoměřice did not follow a direct route home, but included a stop at Slapy to visit Darlene’s sister Nuttelka – Donnatela z Panisádku, who was spending the weekend at a cottage there, away from Prague.
17 May 2026 – KCHLS Club Show Humpolec
Already on Saturday, before Sunday’s show, the sisters Roxy and Fany – Deanna and Dasha z Panisádku – passed the OVVR test required for breeding approval, so that after proper grooming and bathing they could be presented, together with Darlene, at the club show in Humpolec. All three received very nice evaluations from the Swiss judge M. Antisch:
Deanna (Roxy), open class Ex1, CAC
Dasha (Fany), open class Ex3, Child and Dog competition 1st place
Darlene, winners class Ex1, CAC
1 May 2026 – Retriever Club Show of the Slovak Retriever Club – Holíč
The club show was originally supposed to take place at the chateau near Nitra. In the end, the organizers decided to change the venue to Holíč, which is close by. In the chateau grounds, in summer temperatures and a lovely atmosphere with friends, only our one-year-old homebred Enzík – Eduard z Panisádku – was shown. He appeared for the first time in the junior class and immediately received a very nice critique from the Norwegian judge N. Skjelbred and the rating Excellent 1, CAJC, Club Junior Winner.
26 April 2026 – International Dog Show Opole – Moszna, Poland
This time, the departure from the Polish show was much more satisfying than 14 days ago in Zakrzów. Another step was made towards obtaining the titles of Polish Champion. Judging was carried out by Dutch judge H. Stigh.
Cyráno z Panisádku, working class VG1
Deanna z Panisádku (Roxy), open class Ex1, CWC/CAC
Darlene z Panisádku, working class Ex1, CWC/CAC, res. CACIB, Best Working Dog
18 April 2026 – International Dog Show České Budějovice
The trip to Budějice was mainly for the show debut of the girl from our last litter – Evelin z Panisádku – Dorka. And since we had already made the journey, we also entered her mother Táňa in the working class, as she is missing her last CAC to become Czech Champion. We were pleased that the owners had Dorka beautifully groomed by Ivka Scheinpflugová, so we could arrive directly at the show and just see how she would perform in the ring. For her very first show, she managed everything perfectly and certainly did not let herself be outshone. In strong competition of eight bitches in the junior class, she received a very nice critique and an Excellent rating from judge T. Hesounová. In the working class, Táňa earned an Excellent 1, but without the title. The judge criticized her for too loose movement of the front limbs.
11 April 2026 – National Dog Show Zakrzów, Poland
After a longer break, Darlene and Cyrano set off to the Polish national show just across the border to try to get a bit closer to their championships. It took place in the pleasant setting of an equestrian club, and there was also the chance to meet up with some friends from home. Both Cyrano and Darlene achieved the same result in their respective working classes – Excellent 1, without a title. Judge T. Sitkiewicz from Poland did not like Cyrano’s head shape, and Darlene did not show completely good movement, possibly affected by her ongoing rehabilitation.
3 April 2026 – Easter Photoshoot
It turned out there were no photos of Darlene from game training, so this was fixed on Good Friday by photographing the spring pack.
25 February 2026 – Bernadettka celebrated her 12th birthday
There is already a set routine, there is not much running anymore, there is more resting, but there is still the desire to do a short game search and enjoy a health walk. Berunka, wishing lots of health and many more years together!
31 January - 1 February 2026 - International Dog Show Nitradog Carnival Cup
The January series of shows ended perfectly in Nitra. The two-year-old sisters Darlene and Roxy scored again in their classes, Darlene completed her Slovak Champion title on Saturday and on Sunday Roxy won everything except BOB and is well on her way to following in her footsteps :-)
Saturday - judge F. La Rocca (ITA)
Deanna z Panisádku (Roxy) open class - Exc. 2, res. CAC, Darlene z Panisádku working class - Exc. 1, CAC, new Slovak Champion
Sunday - judge G. Ridarčíková (SK)
Deanna z Panisádku open class - Exc. 1, CAC, CACIB, BOS
24 and 25 January 2026 – International Dog Show Duo Cacib Brno
This year’s Duo Cacib was taken on in grand style. Not only were there dogs shown on both days, but the owners of the two‑year‑old sisters (Veronika, Petra, Marek) also managed to talk the kennel into its first appearance in the finals as a breeder’s group. Since the sisters could not go alone, they were ably joined by the youngster Enzo, whom son Vojta entrusted to his dad Ivoš for Saturday. The whole thing was approached more for fun, without any big ambitions :-) So Saturday was long and demanding, spiced up with a few laps in the final ring, and Sunday was much more relaxed. Once again, the results were very nice overall, crowned by meeting the conditions for awarding the title Czech Champion to Darlene.
Saturday – judge M. Kašpar (CZ)
Eduard z Panisádku (Enzo), 8 months, puppy class – VP1, BOBP Daphne z Panisádku (Haki) 2 years, open class – Ex1 Deanna z Panisádku (Roxy) 2 years, open class – Ex2 Dajana z Panisádku (Daisy) 2 years, open class – VG4
Sunday – judge D. Mensink (NED)
Deanna z Panisádku, open class – Ex2, res. CAC Dasha z Panisádku (Fany), open class – Ex3 Darlene z Panisádku, working class – Ex1, CAC, new Czech Champion
10 January 2026 – National Dog Show Brno
At the national show in Brno, our homebred dog made his first appearance, eight‑month‑old Eduard z Panisádku (Enzo), son of Táňa and Remus. At his debut in the puppy class, he not only showed himself beautifully, but also achieved a lovely result and received an excellent critique from the Austrian judge H. Ahrens – VP1, Best Puppy.
18–20 December 2025 – Nitradog Christmas Cup
This lovely international show in Nitra has already become a regular pre-Christmas event for us. This time we entered only Darlene, and only for Saturday, because we had other activities as well. However, the honour of our kennel was defended for all three days by Deanna z Panisádku (Roxy) with her owner Veronika. She did very well; her performance in the open class improved day by day. On Saturday we met up with Veronika and Roxy, as well as other friends, and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, complemented by some nice results:
Deanna z Panisádku, open class – Thursday Excellent 3, Friday Excellent 2, Saturday Excellent 1, CAC
Darlene z Panisádku, working class – Saturday Excellent 1, CAC
19 October 2025 – Meeting of the “D” Litter from Panisádek
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather at the end of the Indian summer, the “D” siblings of our Darlenka were invited over. Six sisters came together and, along with our girls, enjoyed a lovely walk and spent the afternoon together at Náklo, rounded off with a campfire. Everything was documented for the memories by Štěpán. Here are at least a few photos, and there is already looking forward to the next meeting.
18 October 2025 – KPZ Sušice near Přerov
The youngest, Darlene, was supposed to conclude this year’s testing season with her participation and ideally also success at the Club Autumn Trials in Sušice near Přerov. She did well in the first disciplines, at least until she reached the feathered game search. There, just like many other, much more experienced dogs, she was eliminated. She was unable to find the game within the time limit. It is remarkable that the majority of the starting field really failed in this discipline. Out of 21 entries, only 8 dogs completed the trials, and only 3 of them in 1st prize. So it really is necessary to have a bit of trial luck as well. There is no discouragement, training continues and there is already anticipation for next year, when Darlene will certainly present herself with better results.
11 – 12 October 2025 – KVZPR Nové Syrovice – Bethany z Panisádku – “U”
We had also been entered for the all-round trials in Borovy near Přeštice 14 days earlier. However, after Aura’s sudden passing, there was no strength or focus left to take part in the trials without constantly thinking of her, and I couldn’t fully concentrate on Táňa’s performance. That is why I gave up my place to a substitute.
We set off for Nové Syrovice with the feeling that, given recent events, nothing really depended on the outcome and that we simply had to do it, if only for Aura’s sake. The nerves somehow fell away, and we went through all the disciplines of the first day, water and field, almost without a hitch, finishing everything in 1st prize. By the end of the day, Táňa was already exhausted, but we drove home completely satisfied, knowing we had to recover and gather strength for the more demanding work of the second day, when the small and large forest awaited us. Táňa once again passed all the disciplines brilliantly and, with excellent marks on the second day as well, remained in 1st prize. Thus, Táňa, following in Aura’s footsteps, who was surely watching over us and keeping all her paws crossed from above, also became a fully versatile working dog. There is immense pride in her, and she truly deserves full admiration, because to complete such demanding all-round retriever working trials with such a high-quality result just five months after giving birth and raising 12 puppies is nothing short of remarkable!
4 October 2025 – Roxy the Canistherapy Dog
A lovely message arrived from Tovéř. Roxy – Deanna z Panisádku – became a canistherapy dog at not even two years of age. Warm congratulations go to Veronika for devoting so much time and patience to Roxy’s demanding training.

26 September 2025 – Aura has gone to dog heaven MultiCH Authentic Love Čerešˇˇna Lipov – "U"
It is impossible to prepare for this moment. Especially when it is unexpected and so sudden. On Tuesday we were still training together and running across the meadow, and on Friday morning, despite all the efforts of the doctors at the clinic in Uherské Hradiště, you took your last breath in my arms. It is still so hard to believe that you are no longer here and never will be again.
It hurts so much, little Aura! You will never be forgotten, our True Love!
20 – 21 September 2025 – Moravia Cup Loukov
Táňa was entered for the Moravia Cup purely for training purposes, to remind her of the exam atmosphere after a one-year break and to prepare her for the more demanding versatile tests that are coming up soon. Considering that there was very little time for preparation after her puppies left, she managed everything excellently and completed both exam days in 1st prize.
KPZ 1st prize, 218 points, KZVP 1st prize, 154 points
20 September 2025 - Club Show Grafenegg
For the first time, the club show of the Austrian Retriever Club was visited in the beautiful setting of the castle park in Grafenegg. Darlene was shown in the intermediate class and received an excellent grading of V1, CAC from Australian judge Peter King.
13 September 2025 – International Dog Show Floracanis Olomouc
It almost seems to have become a rule that this otherwise great show, held in a lovely setting, is nearly always completely rained out. However, it did nothing to spoil the great feeling from the beautiful results and meeting friends who are just as “afflicted”. This time the “D” sisters were presented: Deanna (Roxy), owned by Veronika Vymazalová, for whom this is almost a home show, and our Darlene. Today Roxy did brilliantly in the intermediate class. Judge P. Řehánek awarded her Excellent 1, CAC, res. CACIB. Darlenka placed second in the open class with Excellent 2. It was also a great pleasure that, despite the rainy weather, Buddy (Emanuel z Panisádku) came to visit with the whole family. Our four‑month‑old puppy, who lives in Olomouc. He is growing into a very handsome boy, so there is hope that next time he might even take a run around the ring :-)

6–7 September 2025 – KPZ and KZVP KCHLS – Čejkovice Cup
For both test days, only Cyrano from this kennel was entered. The girls Dajána (Daisy) and Darlene went to try their exam luck for the very first time only on Sunday at the water work tests. Even though there had been relatively enough training, there were still nerves. Especially when Ivoš sent a text message in the morning saying that he had drawn starting number 1 for both days and, as the first KPZ discipline, the fur drag. That one had not been practised perfectly, or rather there had been mistakes. There was a slow mental preparation for bad news. The surprise and joy were therefore enormous when, in the afternoon, he wrote that Cyrano had completed the test in 1st prize with the CACT title!!!
On the second day, at the water work test, everyone was in a different group. Darlene was handled by Bohdana and Daisy by Marek. The girls did very well, considering these were their first hunting tests ever. Minor mistakes in performance and handling of the disciplines naturally appeared, but nothing fundamental. Both girls passed in 2nd prize and, as befits sisters, finished right next to each other in the rankings :-) However, Cyrano unfortunately did not manage the apport in the field, the second-to-last discipline, within the time limit and did not complete the test. Even so, everyone was more than satisfied and is already looking forward to further training so that next time the results can be even better.
There was one more thing that warmed the heart. Attendance at these tests was only as an observer and supporter of the own offspring, but it was impossible not to notice how the kennel “z Panisádku” from Čejkovice is perceived. The old-timers and organisers often reminisced about the first year of the Čejkovice Cup and its winner, which in 2023 was Táňa from this kennel. It is, after all, almost a home environment :-) There is great anticipation for the next year, where there will certainly be representation again.
30 and 31 August 2025 – National and International Dog Show Rybnik, Poland
In addition to the girls, Ivoš also set off for these two shows with Cyráno – a dog bred in this kennel. For Saturday’s national show, Táňa was entered as well. Even though she was three months after giving birth to 12 puppies and practically without coat, she received the grade Ex1, CWC/CAC from the Polish judge and thus fulfilled the last condition for being awarded the title of Polish Champion, which brought immense joy, as it is certainly well deserved. Cyráno and Darlene also scored, both earning Ex1, CWC/CAC in their classes, with Darlene additionally taking BOS.
On Sunday at the International Show, only Cyráno and Darlene competed. Darlene placed second in the intermediate class – Ex2, but Cyráno really shone. In the working class he received from the Polish judge Ex1, CWC/CAC, res. CACIB, which can be counted, as the dog placed ahead of him is already an International Champion. After a beautiful weekend spent with friends, the journey home from Poland was filled with great satisfaction.
16 and 17 August 2025 - Duodanube Bratislava
This weekend, together with Darlenka, there was a short break from looking after the last two puppies that still do not have their homes, and a trip to Bratislava for the Duodanube international dog show, held at the racecourse in Petržalka. On Saturday it was extremely hot, which affected Darlene’s willingness to show herself. The judge, T. Slawik from Poland, criticised her for weak movement and temperament and awarded her a Very Good in the intermediate class. Fortunately, it was not so hot on Sunday, so Darlenka ran around the ring a bit more happily and received V1, CAC from the Slovak judge S. Heldová in the open class.

22 June 2025 - KZVP Orlová
Our homebred dog Cyráno z Panisádku, on the very day of his fourth birthday, achieved another trial milestone. Together with his handler, Ivoš Kupský, he passed all disciplines of the water work trials in the first prize, with a total of 151 points. Warmest congratulations!
14 June 2025 – OVVR Chlebovice
On Saturday, the owner and Darlene took a short break from the puppies and went to Chlebovice near Frýdek-Místek to experience the atmosphere of the aptitude tests for the first time. Darlene did very well in all disciplines, apart from a small mistake when delivering the retrieve from water, where she lost one point. Overall, she passed and thus fulfilled the last condition for breeding eligibility. A day later, her sister Daisy (Dajána z Panisádku) also completed the OVVR, this time in Traplice, and passed as well. Congratulations to Marek Mrkývka and best wishes for success in the next round of trials.
7 June 2025 – RK CZ Club Show Florinka Olomouc
At the favourite show in Olomouc, the kennel once again had a good representation and everyone brought home very nice results and critiques from the Swiss judge Yvonne Jaussi:
Cyráno z Panisádku, working class – Exc. 2, res. CAC, fulfilled the conditions for the title Czech Champion Dajana z Panisádku (Daisy), intermediate class – Exc. 1, CAC Dasha z Panisádku (Fany), intermediate class – Exc. 2, res. CAC Deanna z Panisádku (Roxy), intermediate class – Exc. 3 Darlene z Panisádku, open class – Exc. 1, CAC
On Sunday, at the rainy regional club show, Roxy fought again in the intermediate class and achieved Exc. 1, class winner
10 and 11 May 2025 – KCHLS Club Shows Humpolec
Only Darlenka went to these two shows to make her debut in the adult category – intermediate class. Expectations were not very high, as she is currently out of coat after shedding. It was a really big surprise when the Scottish judge Jim Richardson placed her first among eight bitches – Excellent 1, CAC. And on top of that, he wrote a truly beautiful critique, full of praise, including the phrase quality from nose to tail – that sentence will probably stay in memory forever :-)
On Sunday, Darlene met her sister Fany (Dasha z Panisádku) in the intermediate class. This time, among six bitches, it was Fany who did not get lost – Excellent 2, res. CAC. In addition, together with her handler Vilík, she took first place in the child and dog competition. Darlene received a Very Good from the British judge.
11 April 2025 - European Dog Show Brno
Taking part in a European show is always a prestigious affair, so it was impossible to miss it, especially when it was held so close, in Brno. Here it is not so much about the result, but rather about comparing and mapping the very well-known European breeders and their protégés. We had Darlene entered in junior class and Aura in champion class. Another representative of our kennel was Roxy (Deanna z Panisádku), also in junior class. Unfortunately, Aurinka did not enter the ring because she started limping and a leg injury was suspected. In the end it turned out to be an inflammation between the toes caused by a tick, which was discovered too late. In the afternoon, after the show, she was already running as usual. So, bad luck. Nevertheless, the young ones were, it is believed, presented very well. The competition was enormous and so Darlene, out of 12 bitches in junior class, made it into the judge P. Berchtold’s narrower selection, but it was not enough to reach the podium. Even so, she finished with Excellent and her sister Roxy with Very Good.
10 March 2025 – wedding trip to Frýdek-Místek
The first signs of heat were noticed in Tánička on 26 February. Since progesterone had never been measured for her before, the tried-and-tested method was used, the same as with every female – try it around the tenth day. So on the morning of Friday 7 March, off for a blood draw, with a result of 5.5. That wouldn’t be such an important figure if the groom were always available at home and could be counted on. But His Lordship went off to England on Wednesday to run around the green carpet at the prestigious Crufts. So there was some anxiety that Táňa’s progesterone might shoot up to high values over the weekend and there would be no chance to mate in time.
Remus returned early Monday morning with the entire successful team, we went for another blood draw and Táňa’s value was absolutely ideal – 12.0. So the trip to Bětka in Frýdek-Místek began, where little Remus was already waiting. Everything went absolutely perfectly, so fingers and paws crossed for a successful outcome :-)

25 February 2025 Berny celebrates 11th birthday
Bernadettka celebrated her 11th birthday. Wishing Berunka many more years of enjoying peace and comfort in good health together with us and the whole pack!!!
15 and 16 February 2025 – Duo Cacib Brno
The trip to Brno was planned to try to complete the championships. Darlenka confidently won her class on both days, received BOJ, qualification for Crufts 2026 and, most importantly, fulfilled the conditions for the title Czech Junior Champion. Táňa, despite twice winning res. CAC, still has to wait for the title Czech Champion, as does Cyráno. Saturday also brought success for Daisy (Dajána z Panisádku). She finished second behind Darlene with an Excellent 2 and a beautiful critique.
Saturday 15/2, judge F. Korda (CZ)
Darlene z Panisádku, junior class – Exc. 1, CAJC, CACIB-J, BOJ – new Czech Junior Champion!!! Dajána z Panisádku, junior class – Exc. 2 Bethany z Panisádku, working class – Exc. 2, res. CAC
Sunday 16/2, judge B. Pegan (HR)
Cyráno z Panisádku, working class – Very Good 2 Darlene z Panisádku, junior class – Exc. 1, CAJC, CACIB-J, BOJ Bethany z Panisádku, open class – Exc. 2, res. CAC
8 February 2025 – International Dog Show Katowice – Gliwice
Only Darlene went to Katowice, and on site she met her brother Dexter with his owner Magdalena from Wroclaw. The show was over for us quite quickly; the judge, T. Borkowski from Poland, went through it rather briskly, without a written critique, only announcing the marks. Dexter received VG3 in the junior class and Darlene received EX2 in the same class.
25 – 26 January 2025 – Nitradog Carnival Cup
The weekend was once again spent in Nitra at the international dog show. This time, based on the previous results, there was a good chance to complete the championships, and it worked out :-) Cyráno won the working class on Saturday and Darlene confirmed her great form on both days, winning the junior class.
25/1 Cyráno z Panisádku, working class Ex1, CAC – new Slovak Beauty Champion!!! Darlene z Panisádku, junior class Ex1, CAJC, CACIB-J, BOJ 26/1 Darlene z Panisádku, junior class Ex1, CAJC, CACIB-J, BOJ – new Slovak Junior Beauty Champion!!!
January 2025 – health examinations
The beginning of this year does not only mean travelling around to shows, but also important health examinations. First, on January 15, Darlenka went to Brno for X-rays. At the clinic of MVDr. Snášil she underwent hip and elbow X-rays and patella examination. Everything with beautiful results – HD A/A, ED 0/0, PL 0/0.
A week later, again in Brno, this time with Táňa, the practice of eye specialist MVDr. Trnková was visited to have hereditary eye diseases examined. The result was excellent as well – eye examination clear, incl. goniodysplasia. Since the trip to the doctor was already being made, Táňa’s mother, almost eleven-year-old Bernadettka, was also taken in the car to have her eyesight checked too. It seemed that her cornea was taking on a slightly different shade and that her eyes were not as bright as they used to be. It was very reassuring when the doctor said that it is caused only by a different refraction of light due to age and that Berny might even see better than humans :-))
11 January 2025 – National Show Brno
A total of six of our offspring took part in this show, together with Darlene, three of her sisters, Cyráno from the previous litter and Bora from the “B” litter. And once again, there was no need to be ashamed of the results. With the exception of Cyráno, whom the Czech judge L. Frnčová criticized for his “Christmas condition” because he had put on weight, everyone received an Excellent rating!

Táňa in working class and Darlene in junior class set off to try their luck in Brno, together with their sisters Roxy and Fany. And it paid off, the kennel achieved a beautiful result. The girls in junior class lined up nicely one after another on the podium and Táňa won her class. Judge Edita Heitel (CZ) also awarded everyone lovely critiques.

2 and 3 November 2024 – Aura Became a Canistherapy Dog
On the first November weekend, Aura and her owner set off for Frýdek-Místek, where Kamila Raiskubová (SmilingDog z.s.) organized a canistherapy course. On the first day, they completed theory and practical exercises, followed by exams on Sunday. Aura passed with flying colors – 109 out of a possible 110 points – and by passing the PTCTP exam, she became a certified canistherapy dog.

19 October 2024 – Club Autumn Retriever Trials KCHLS Sušice near Přerov
These autumn trials were entered mainly for training purposes, as preparations were underway for the higher KZPR exams in Hvožďany, which were supposed to take place a week later. The aim was for Táňa to get used to the trial atmosphere again after a longer break. The event was also an opportunity to support homebred dogs Chucky and Cyráno, who were also entered for the trials. However, the organizer in Hvožďany cancelled the retrieving tests without replacement, so the autumn trials in Sušice were enjoyed with Táňa in a very relaxed and stress-free way, and a nice result was achieved. A total of 22 dogs started, including 11 Flats. Nineteen dogs completed the trials, all the Flats among them! Táňa, apart from one grade 3 in the duck retrieve from deep water, when she was reluctant to go into the water and needed one extra command, passed all the other disciplines with grade 4. She finished overall in third place with the title Res. CACT.
Brothers Cyráno and Cristian (Chucky) z Panisádku also did well. They had the trials nicely underway, both in first prize. Unfortunately, both made a mistake in the same discipline – the feathered game drag – and dropped to second and third prize respectively. Even so, everyone left the trials more than satisfied. The owners did a great job, the boys made huge progress and gained some more valuable experience. This means there are new challenges ahead for next season:-)
Bethany z Panisádku – I. prize, 228 pts, Res. CACT
Cristian z Panisádku – II. prize, 214 pts
Cyráno z Panisádku – III. prize, 193 pts
28–29 September 2024 – Show weekend in Wroclaw
Sometime in July it turned out that two dog shows were being held in Wroclaw at the end of September. Since our bred dog Dexter lives there, his owner Magdalena was contacted to see if she would like to enter him and let him try his luck. The surprise was great when she wrote back that she had entered Dexter for both shows, on Saturday and Sunday. She also asked for some videos and instructions and started training. However, the floods in southern Poland almost interfered with the plans, so the news was followed constantly to see whether the shows would take place at all. Fortunately, the flood wave did not sweep through Wroclaw, so the trip there started on Friday. The hotel stay was with three girls – Darlene, Táňa and Aura (she was not shown, she only came along as company). And on Saturday morning everyone headed to the Olympic Stadium. Magdalena and Dexter were met right in the car park. He was beautifully and professionally groomed, which looked promising. And the results confirmed it. On Sunday the departure from Wroclaw was in complete satisfaction, with the prospect of more future successes for Dexter.

22 September 2024 – Retriever Club Show KCHLS Prague Džbán
Early the very next morning we set off towards Prague for the traditional club show. Here we did a little better in terms of results under judge Luis Peixota from Portugal. More importantly, we met up again with friends we had not seen for a long time. And above all, our “D” litter girl Donnatela (Nutelka) with her owner Eva Cibulková came to see us at Džbán; we had not had the chance to see them since she left the nest.

On Monday, on the way back from the Prague show, we stopped in Žamberk to visit two of our offspring – Bernard z Panisádku with Pavla Bednářová and Doreen z Panisádku (Mailí) with Kateřina Broncová. At the same time, we groomed Mailí, Darlene’s sister, so that they were almost indistinguishable from each other :-)
21 September 2024 – Special Retriever Show Veľké Úľany
Shows in Veľké Úľany are always a favourite to attend, especially thanks to the lovely setting of the Eco Park. This time, however, the planned show weekend did not get off to a very glorious start :-) All of the participants from the kennel received only a “very good” rating from the Norwegian judge Sven Slettedal. After the show, spirits were lifted by a visit to homebred Darwin, who lives nearby with his owner Katarína Slezáková. It was a pleasant and useful outing in one – siblings Darlene and Darwin saw each other again after a long time and had a lovely play together, and there was also a chance to give him a little trim and tidy up so he could look like a proper big boy.

31 August 2024 - MVP Floracanis Olomouc
At this show, which is traditionally attended, the kennel “z Panisádku” had a large representation, with dogs from almost all litters. There was an opportunity to meet friends and their pets again, enjoy the show, and the results can certainly be considered very satisfying. The judging was carried out by Czech judge Jarmila Jindřichovská.

26 June 2024 – a legend has left – Arwen Tia Vrbovecké stráně
Everyone who knew Arwenka, the mother of Aura, knew that she was one of the best FCR bitches of European, perhaps even world, calibre. She and her owner, Katka Švarcová, could rightfully be proud of this description, because she truly earned it with her achievements, both in the show ring and in working trials. She was unique, wonderful, and irreplaceable. There is immense joy and gratitude that her blood runs in the veins of Aura and her little daughter Darlene, whom she was still able to introduce to her grandmother in March. It was known that she was ill, but it was never really accepted that one day she would no longer be here. Sleep sweetly, Arwenka, and many thanks for everything that could be experienced together with you!
16 June 2024 – Special Retriever Show Náměšť na Hané
At the show, held in the beautiful surroundings of the park of Náměšť Castle, there was a reunion with many familiar faces and, above all, with homebred dogs. Darlene met her sister Roxy (Deanna z Panisádku) and her older brother Cyráno there. To great delight, they all presented themselves successfully, and on top of that Darlene scored a hat-trick. Her third show and third victory. :-) The judge was K. Kriisk from Estonia.

8 June 2024 – Club Forest Trials KCHLS – Kunovice
After the winter break, for the first time this year, Táňa and the handler entered hunting trials again, this time forest trials, which she had not yet completed. The training had gone quite well, which was reflected in the individual disciplines. Everything was completed with top marks, with only a small hesitation on the blood track, but even a grade three there still promised a beautiful result. However, there was great surprise and disappointment with the evaluation of the stalking work. It was not flawless, but it seemed more like a grade two, and not something that would send them down to the second prize. That is life, and sometimes a bit of luck with the judges is needed as well. Nevertheless, Táňa passed the trials with a beautiful score. Next time it might be a podium finish:-)
19 May 2024 – Retriever Club Show KCHLS Humpolec
After 14 days, Darlene went to try her luck again, this time in tandem with senior Berny, at the club show in Humpolec. In the puppy class she also met her little sister Fany (Dasha z Panisádku). It could not have turned out better :-) Darlenka, in puppy competition against all retrievers, won the entire show. As if that were not enough success, her dad Romeo also took BIS. So it seems the apple really did not fall far from the tree. Little Fany finished in second place with the grade VP2 and Bernadettka in the veteran class with Excellent 4. The judge was Norwegian J. R. Sauge.

4 May 2024 - Retriever Club Show Velké Úlany
Darlene set out to gain experience at her very first show, which was abroad right away. So she wouldn’t be lonely in the car, she took along her inseparable partner, Táňa. The show was enjoyed together with the breeder of Darlene’s mother Aura, Katka Švarcová. The British judge M. Armstrong liked Darlene very much and from her show debut she brought home a very nice critique and the rating VP 1, BOB Baby. Due to her tiredness, we did not stay for the finals. Tánička did not lag behind either in the working class and received the mark Ex2, res. CAC.

Bethany z Panisádku - Ex2, res. CAC, working class

27–28 April 2024 – Čejkovice Cup
The original plan was to fight with Táňa to defend last year’s title, but it was not possible to register for the trials in the new KCHLS system. However, two boys from the C litter, with whom there had been thorough preparation, were lucky, so there was a representative of the kennel at the trials. Considering these were their first hunting trials, they did quite well. Each of them passed one trial on one day. Cyráno, handled by Ivoš Kupský, passed the KPZ on Saturday, and Chucky (Cristian z Panisádku), handled by Simona Kvanďúchová, passed the KZVP on Sunday. Congratulations!
6–7 April 2024 – trip to visit the puppies, not only litter "D"
This weekend was dedicated to visiting the puppies that do not live so close by and that we therefore probably will not see as often. We packed our whole pack into the van and set off towards Žabčice, where the Zich family welcomed us together with their Fanynka (Dasha z Panisádku). After coffee and homemade apple strudel, we continued on to see Arinka in Dolany. She is from the first litter, but since it was on the way, there was no reason not to stop by the Veselý family. The next stop was just a kilometre further, in Tovéř at the Vymazal family, where Roxy (Deana z Panisádku) was waiting for us. She was absolutely thrilled with Darlenka; the girls had an incredible romp and, if we had not had to move on, they would probably still be playing now. :-) We then headed to Žamberk, where Bernard from the "B" litter and his owner Pavla were waiting for us, and together we visited Mailí (Doreen z Panisádku) at the Bronec family. Pavla saved the cherry on top for the end and gave us a tour of their factory, where they have set up a steam engine museum. An amazing visit. Towards the end of the day we arrived at the Roubec family in Trutnov to see Darinka (Darja z Panisádku). Before we laid our heads down for the night, we were treated to excellent refreshments and great entertainment until late in the evening. After a morning walk with all the girls, we started heading back home. In the Vysočina region we still managed to visit two boys from the "A" litter – Alfred and Antík. Our last stop was in Dolní Kounice, where our returnee Buck (Benjamin z Panisádku) now lives with Karolína and Radek.
It was a great joy to see all our offspring and their owners again. It is wonderful to see how well they are all doing. And those we did not manage to visit this time will hopefully be next. Another trip needs to be planned to go and see them all. :-)
25 February 2024 - Bernadettka celebrates a milestone birthday
Today our Bernadettka celebrated her tenth birthday. Wishing her lots of health, that she stays in such great shape for a long time and enjoys everyday joys with the whole pack :-)

5 February 2024 - Artur z Panisádku 27 March 2019 - 2 February 2024
What we learned today took our breath away. We have received perhaps the saddest news in the history of our kennel. The beautiful boy from our first litter, little Artur, left for dog heaven on Friday, 2 February 2024, after a fast, insidious and aggressive illness. It is hard to find words to express how deeply sorry we are that he had to leave so young and full of energy. At least there is some comfort in knowing that his loving family was with him until his very last moments, a family to whom he gave so many wonderful shared experiences and so much love. You will never be forgotten!
23 November 2023 – our puppies were born
On Thursday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Aura brought 13 beautiful, healthy puppies into the world – 11 girls and 2 boys. The birth went smoothly and without complications. The hope is that it will continue this way and that the little ones will grow into beautiful and healthy dogs.
19 November 2023 – successes of our offspring
The first half of November was marked not only by caring for pregnant Aura, who gave us a bit of a scare on Monday the 13th with a minor complication that meant a trip to the clinic. Since then, she has been under daily professional supervision and on bed rest, just to be safe. Everything is now fine and we are slowly heading into the final stretch. The puppies could be born any day now.
Our offspring have also been busy. First came the great news from Kyjov that Cristian z Panisádku (Chucky) has become a stud dog. A week later, his brother Cyráno z Panisádku underwent X-ray examinations of his hip and elbow joints and patellae with MVDr. Snášil in Brno, with excellent results: HD A/A, ED 0/0, PL 0/0 and, as the doctor himself said, at 2.5 years of age a textbook example of how it should look. Now all that remains is to send in all of Cyráno’s documents to obtain breeding approval. As if that were not enough in terms of breeding success, wonderful news also arrived from the “B” litter: Baron z Panisádku has also become a stud dog. So boys, now it’s time to start fending off all those brides :-)
Bibiana z Panisádku (Fany) brought great joy on St. Martin’s Day, 11 November, when she and her owner Petra passed their very first exam – ZZZ – the entry-level rescue dog test. Warm congratulations to both and best wishes for many more successes in demanding rescue work.
23 October 2023 – Aura’s pregnancy confirmed
Today, on day 31 after mating, an ultrasound examination confirmed that Aura is expecting puppies :-)
The vet counted 13 or 14 embryos, so if there was no mistake, a really large litter is expected. Above all, the wish is for the second half of the pregnancy, the birth and the following days to go smoothly and without complications, so that Aura and the puppies get through everything in good health.

30 September 2023 - OVVR Kunžak - Leština
Another wonderful piece of news has reached us from Bohemia. Baron z Panisádku, together with his owner Honza Vosátka, also successfully passed the aptitude tests and thus took the final step towards Baron’s breeding approval. Congratulations :-)
28 September 2023 – OVVR Sušice near Přerov
On this public holiday, two of our offspring from litter "C" – Cyrano and Cristian (Chucky) – entered the aptitude test in Sušice. We mostly trained together and set ourselves the goal of successfully passing the breeding test. And that is exactly what happened :-)
Cyrano, with his handler and owner in one person, Ivoš Kupský, handled the disciplines very well and finished in a beautiful 5th place with 218 points. Chucky, whom I handled myself (owner Simona will handle him on her own next time :-), hesitated only when delivering the retrieve from water and earned 222 points and 2nd place. Both dogs are well on their way to being approved for breeding, but above all they are very clever and have great potential for further, higher hunting tests, which will be the focus of training starting next spring.
22 and 23 September 2023 – Aura’s mating with Romeo
Things happened rather quickly. Aura came into heat about a month and a half earlier than expected. Fortunately, the choice of groom had been clear for a long time, so even though it took us a bit by surprise, we were ready. And Romeo was ready too. On Friday morning, the tenth day from the start of her heat, we did progesterone tests, with a value of 8.64. In the afternoon we were already knocking on the door of the Beskyd Hill kennel. Romeo did great and everything went perfectly by the book. The next day, just to be sure, we repeated everything. Again, without any problems. Now it is just a matter of hoping that this time it works out and that at the end of November there will be a wonderful surprise to look forward to :-)
16 – 17 September 2023 – Club Working Tests in Retrieving for Retrievers – KZPR CACT Týn nad Vltavou
We got into the trials as substitutes, which we were very happy about. We arrived on site already on Friday afternoon so that Táňa would be rested and in good condition. We started in the forest with the search square (4) and the fur drag (3 – set twice), then continued in the field with the feather drag (3) and our treacherous triangle – directing to 2 pieces of feathered game (4 and 2). She searched for the second piece with more difficulty, but she found it and retrieved it. Apart from that score of two, Táňa did well on the first day. On Sunday we started on water: directing to 2 ducks (4), duck search in the reeds (4). The last disciplines were marking, stay and heelwork. In marking, the discipline we train constantly and which, it is fair to say, is mastered better than almost any other, Táňa almost failed! She went nicely in a straight line, but then circled around the game and moved away from it until she came back to me. After being shown again, she went in the right direction, picked up the game and retrieved it. So we got a 1. That dropped us into the 3rd prize, but we finished the trials. Once again, it was a huge experience and a reminder that even when it seems a discipline is perfectly mastered, a dog can very nicely prove otherwise. It is fair to say that these trials were demanding as well – out of 24 dogs, only 13 finished! So there is satisfaction in having managed to complete them.
2–3 September 2023 – Club Versatile Retriever Trials – KVZPR CACT Sušice/Týn nad Bečvou
The first versatile trials with Táňa were approached as a chance to try our luck with the simple goal of completing the test. There were no higher ambitions, as there is still room for improvement in some disciplines. On the first day, the draw assigned us work in the small and large forest – search square, fur drag, stay, work before the blood track, blood track and steadiness. Táňa did very well in everything and we finished the first day in 1st prize. On Sunday, the field work started with the unpopular triangle – directing to two pieces of feathered game. It was confirmed that this discipline is still not properly mastered and, unfortunately, Táňa failed in it. It is hard to say whether it was due to fatigue from the demanding previous day or because it was the first task, but in any case it was another important experience. There will certainly be the opportunity and motivation to complete these challenging trials sometime in the future.
27 August 2023 – Club Autumn Retriever Trials – KPZ CACT Velké Opatovice
There were two reasons for entering these trials. First, our own breeding – Cyráno z Panisádku – was entered, taking part in his very first hunting trials. And second, the following weekend a tougher challenge – the all-round trials – was scheduled, so it was a good opportunity to reinforce the trial atmosphere. Táňa went through the trials comfortably with top marks (fours), but on the last disciplines – heelwork and searching – she relaxed a bit and received threes. Even so, it was enough for overall victory and the CACT title. For some reason, out of 12 dogs only 5 finished. Unfortunately, Cyráno was among those who dropped out, even though he did quite well for his first time. Heelwork obedience and too many handler commands let him down. But that will be polished up for next time :-)
22 – 23 July 2023 – IHA Klagenfurt
Only Aura travelled to the two-day Austrian show, with the goal of obtaining at least 1x CACA to move closer to the championship title, for which two more certificates were still missing. However, in the working class Aurinka fought hard, showed herself beautifully and won her class every day, thus fulfilling the conditions for the title Austrian Champion. As a bonus, there was time to enjoy the evening atmosphere of the beautiful historic centre of Klagenfurt.

2–9 July 2023 – a week-long Polish journey
The trip through southern Poland unusually began already on Saturday 1 July at a wedding in Ostrava. To avoid having to return home from Ostrava for the dogs and then drive north again, it was arranged so that the son brought them to the venue, the cars were swapped along with their “contents”, and the journey continued on Sunday morning just across the border to Wisła for an international show. The week started very successfully. Aura, in working class, under judge T. Sitkiewicz (PL), received Excellent 1, CWC/CAC, res. CACIB. With this she fulfilled the conditions for the title and became a Polish Champion! All show time was spent in the wonderful company of breeder Bětka Vrublová.
After the show there was accommodation at the neighbouring campsite, where two nights were spent and the beautiful surroundings of Wisła were explored with the girls. This continued over the next two days, with a short drive to the Vestina Hotel in Malinka. Then there was camping again for one night on the shore of the beautiful Lake Międzybrodzkie. On Friday the journey continued to Krakow, with accommodation a short distance from the historic centre, and the time until Sunday’s show was spent discovering beautiful sights and attractions. Krakow is a truly beautiful city and comes highly recommended.
At Sunday’s international show, Aura confirmed her great form and under German judge Ch. Lohmann she took Excellent 1, CWC/CAC from the champions class.
This completed the Polish mission – Aura gained her champion title, the girls enjoyed their trips, and there was a wonderful rest and a clear head :-)
18 June 2023 – Club Show RK CZ Náměšť na Hané
The main reason for going to the club show was to exhibit homebred dogs and make sure their height was recorded and their teeth checked. All the girls came along for the trip, but they were not entered because they are not exactly in show condition at the moment. Just for fun, after five years, Bernadetta was entered in the veteran class. The idea was to let her have one last run in the ring – she is already nine and a half years old. It was a real surprise when the Norwegian judge gave her a lovely critique, saying that for her age she is still elegant and in very good condition, and she won the veteran class and received Excellent 1, BOV. In the final competitions for Best Veteran of the Show, she then finished in a beautiful second place!!! It was very moving; there really could not have been a better way to end her show career.
Results from the show:

27–28 May 2023 – Čejkovice Cup – a star is born (working)
The goal at this two-day trial was to pass the autumn field trials and the water work, ideally in first prize, to improve on last year’s result when Táňa dropped into second prize. It was completely unexpected to do so well, even though nothing was underestimated in preparation and training was hard. The surprise was immense when on the first day at the KPZ Táňa scored top marks (fours) in every discipline, finished with the maximum number of points, won the trial with great ease and earned the CACT title. On the second day the KZVP took place, where there was a slight hesitation on the first duck from deep water, but it only resulted in a minor mark reduced by one grade. In the last discipline, hunting in the reeds, the heat-induced fatigue finally showed, the work was no longer as persistent and the judges awarded threes. Everything else was completed with top marks. So in the water work we finished in first prize, in a beautiful eighth place out of 24 dogs. The total score for both days brought overall victory and the Čejkovice Cup. There is immense pride in Tánička, as this is in fact the greatest working success of the kennel so far and a reward for all the time and effort devoted to training. She is very talented and there is hope that this is not the last word yet :-)
Bethany z Panisádku – 27/5/2023 KPZ 1st prize, CACT, 232 pts, trial winner; 28/5/2023 KZVP 1st prize, 161 pts
Winner of the Čejkovice Cup
9 May 2023 – the end of hope
Already at the beginning of Aura’s second month of the planned pregnancy there were suspicions that her condition was not usual. This was attributed to the likelihood that she would have a small litter of puppies. Today a decision was made to do a follow-up ultrasound examination. Unfortunately, it showed that Aura is not expecting any puppies. Most likely she did not become pregnant, even though every effort was made and everything suggested that it had worked out. Sometimes nature is simply stronger. It will be tried again when her time comes.
15 April 2023 - Bernard Superstar
Our homebred dog – Bernard z Panisádku – has become the star of an advertising campaign for Dibaq, the company producing Fitmin brand pet food. He was chosen to be photographed for the campaign promoting their new products.
18 and 19 March 2023 - Aura mated with Duke
Aura kept everyone in suspense a bit with the timing of her heat. At first it seemed she would “go along” with Táňa before the end of 2022. Then the calculated date was expected to be at the turn of January and February 2023. In the end, she decided to go for it only on International Women’s Day :-). On the ninth day, Friday 17 March, her progesterone was measured and at 9:00 a.m. it was 5.63 ng/ml, so early on Saturday morning we set off for Zirndorf near Nuremberg. Shortly after noon we reported to Renate Koch, where Duke was already impatiently waiting for Aura. It was love at first sight and they immediately took to each other. The next day the mating was repeated just to be sure, and the departure from Renate and Duke was filled with complete satisfaction and great expectations. If everything goes well, the puppies will be born around 20 May 2023.
15 December 2022 - Eye Examination for Hereditary Diseases
After some time, Aura again underwent an examination for hereditary eye defects with MVDr. Trnková in Brno, with a negative result, including goniodysplasia :-)
3 December 2022 – Jubilee National Show Brno – The Thirtieth
This time the girls stayed at home and only the offspring went to Brno – Aura’s eighteen‑month‑old puppies. Out of a total of eight siblings, five came together and brought great joy to us and their owners, because after being judged by Kristína Vaníčková (CZE), they all achieved an Excellent rating!

19 November 2022 - XVII International Dog Show CACIB Kielce
The show was attended together with Aura’s breeders, Katka and Radim Švarc, who brought their young females Lor and Limit to be exhibited. In the pleasant atmosphere of the showground, all three girls were successful in their classes and received nice evaluations and titles. Aura advanced to the final competition for Best Working Dog, where she made it into the narrower final of six dogs, but unfortunately did not reach the podium. Even so, the departure was with complete satisfaction, as another step towards the Polish Champion title was made.

28–29 October 2022 – Club Versatile Retriever Working Tests CACT – Hrádek u Rokycan
There was a strong wish to get to these versatile tests, the last ones of the year organized by Retriever Klub CZ. However, it was not easy at all. After registration opened, the entry limit was filled within 5 minutes and the team ended up as sixth on the waiting list. There was no longer any hope of actually going in the end. The surprise was all the greater when, 14 days before the event, a message arrived that a place had opened up. Training with Aura was immediately intensified in the disciplines that had never been done at trials before, and those that were already well mastered were reinforced. A further unpleasant announcement came a few days before the tests themselves: due to a lack of qualified judges caused by illness, the number of participating dogs was reduced to just 12, with the selection made by draw. Fortunately, the draw was successful and it was possible to get to the versatile tests in Rokycany. A hotel was booked and the journey to the venue started already on Thursday afternoon so that Aura could be as well rested and prepared as possible.
On the public holiday Friday morning, after the necessary checks and paperwork, everyone headed to the test grounds. The field was divided into two groups of six dogs. After the first discipline, steadiness and behaviour after the shot, the group went on to the work in the forest. Aura was handled by Bohdana, while the narrator took on the role of carrier, supplier and supporter. They drew the first running order, so Aura started every discipline and went first on the most difficult ones – the stalk and the blood track, which led through demanding terrain. This was immediately reflected in the marks: the blood track was completed only after the second horn signal and scored a 2. Worse was still to come. In the search for two pieces of furred game in the so‑called square, Aura brought back one piece, but went for the second rather unwillingly and even started barking threateningly in the cover. The judge went to check what was happening, in case there was a wild boar or some other problem. The second piece was not retrieved within the time limit, resulting in a mark of 1 and a fall into the 3rd prize. It later turned out that Aura had been disturbed by a couple of mushroom pickers who emerged from the cover after the discipline. There was nothing that could be done about it anymore. The positive side was that the tension eased and the only goal became to complete the whole test. The furred game drag, the stay and heelwork then went smoothly. The first day ended late, almost in the dark. It was a demanding day, especially for the dogs, but all of them passed and continued to the second day.
Saturday brought work in the field and in the water. The search for feathered and furred game went well. There was concern about the next discipline, which had never been done at trials before: directing to two pieces of feathered game. Aura retrieved the first bird after a slight hesitation and on the second send, while the second retrieve was textbook perfect. The marks of 2 and 4 were therefore very welcome and there was a deep sigh of relief. Marking and the feathered game drag were both scored with 4s. In the water work, during the directing to two ducks, Aura again had a slight hesitation at the delivery, resulting in a 3, while the search in the reeds was beautiful and fast, earning a 4. On the second day, greater fatigue and lack of concentration could be seen in the dogs, which was probably also the reason why one dog from each group failed a discipline and dropped out.
After all the disciplines were completed, there was enormous relief and happiness at having finished such a demanding test. The judges also stated that the level of training of the dogs and the work of the handlers was high, and above all that everything took place in a very friendly atmosphere without unnecessary rivalry. Great thanks go to the organizers of the tests, the judges and everyone involved. New friends and kindred spirits were found again, with whom experiences can be shared.
16 October 2022 – Retriever Club Show RK CZ Královice
At this nicely attended show, Aura earned an Excellent 4 (V4) in the winners class under Dutch judge Saskia Ratthenau-Beyerman. The day before the show, time was set aside in Prague–Ruzyně, at the Šmíd family, to groom Argo from the first litter.
1 – 2 October 2022 – IHA Thulln
A successful show weekend in Thulln, Austria, where Aura was entered only for Saturday and Sunday. Most of the participants from the Czech Republic were there for all three days and collected many medals and awards. It is true that many exhibitors withdrew from the show at the last minute because of the Animal Protection Act, which had just come into force in Austria. Some of the new regulations are highly debatable. The show organizer later apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured that everything possible would be done to ensure that future shows take place in the traditional spirit. Nevertheless, the show was thoroughly enjoyed with friends, also thanks to the knowledgeable Norwegian judges – breed specialists.

27–28 September 2022 – “B” litter reunion
The feast of St. Wenceslas was chosen as an opportunity to invite the puppies from the B litter back to the place where they were born. It is always difficult to find a date that suits everyone, but even so, there was a lovely turnout. On Tuesday afternoon, everyone was introduced to each other during a beautiful walk, and in the evening, over a barbecue, experiences and observations from life with the dogs were shared. The next day was devoted to training, especially retrieving. The joint training was truly fruitful, because even those who had not retrieved before, or only unconvincingly, were inspired by the others and started to retrieve very nicely, including game. With the more advanced dogs, training continued in the afternoon in the reeds and on the water. Everyone enjoyed the time together and both learned new things and practised and improved what was already known and mastered.
26 September 2022 – Trip to Kokořínsko
After a demanding weekend full of shows and travelling, it was time for a little break in the Kokořínsko region. It turned into a beautiful walk and the girls were absolutely thrilled. Just yesterday they were perfectly shampooed and brushed, and today every puddle, pond and patch of mud was theirs. :-) But that was to be expected; they needed to let off some steam as well.
25 September 2022 – Retriever Club Show KCHLS Prague – Džbán
At the outdoor club show in the pleasant surroundings of the Džbán campsite, Aura earned a nice critique and the result of Excellent 2, res. CAC in the Champion class from British judge Sarah E. F. Whittaker, which made up for the previous show day in Poland :-)
24 September 2022 – 29th International Dog Show Wroclaw
After Aura’s success at the July show, it was decided to try its luck in Poland again, this time at the international show in Wroclaw. The trip was made with all three girls, because the next day the journey continued to the club show in Prague and the following Monday there was a trip planned to the Kokořínsko region, so that none of them would be left at home feeling sad. Unfortunately, the success was not repeated. The Swedish judge was quite strict, but fair, and so both Aura and Táňa received a “very good”.

4 September 2022 - DUODANUBE Bratislava
After Saturday’s national show in Olomouc, Sunday was spent travelling to Bratislava for the international show. In addition to Táňa, Buck was taken again. This time, on a rainy day at the racecourse in Petržalka, the results were not very successful. Táňa received a Very Good 2 rating in the working class and Buck only a Good. Judge Róbert Kanás (SK) had reservations about his teeth.
3 September 2022 – Floracanis Olomouc
In addition to Aura, Buck (Benjamin z Panisádku) was also entered for the national show. Although he already has his new owners, he was still ours at the time of the entry deadline and there was a wish to find out how his conformation would be judged. He happened to be staying over for dog-sitting, so he was taken to his debut show. It went well: judge Petr Řehánek (CZ) gave him a nice critique and the rating Excellent 1, CAC in the intermediate class. Aura brought home the rating Excellent 2, res. CAC from the winners class. Other homebred dogs, Beatrix and Celestýnka, were also met at the show.
6 August 2022 – OVVR Velké Pavlovice
Since Táňa had already passed the hunting test, she no longer needed the aptitude verification. However, the OVVR was taking place nearby, in Velké Pavlovice, so she was entered just as part of training. Every test, with a different environment, people and dogs, is always a very good benchmark of whether the training is sufficient and everything is handled well. It also turned out that there is still some room for improvement. During the duck retrieve from deep water, the water was not as deep as Táňa is used to and, a few metres from the shore, where she was practically wading, she dropped the duck and only brought it back correctly on the next command. So she got a 2 for that. The lesson is that training is needed even in such conditions. :-) Of course, Táňa passed the OVVR – with 209 points.
16 July 2022 – Maya has puppies
The female from our first litter, Aurelia z Panisádku (Maya), gave birth today to her first puppies – 3 girls and 1 boy. They are all healthy and beautiful. Eat well and grow strong, little darlings! Congratulations to the owner, Lenka Rozsypálková.

2 July 2022 - II. International Purebred Dog Show Wisla
In the beautiful setting of the international show, at the campsite in Wisla (PL), Aura ran her way to 1st place in working class under judge Monika Parasyn from Poland, and in the final competitions for the best working dog of the show she took 2nd place. The path to the Polish Champion title is now open :-)

25 June 2022 - MVP Intercanis Brno
At the international show in Brno, Aura was presented in the champions class and three of our offspring in the junior and intermediate classes. It has to be said that such a chaotic show had not been experienced before. Not only did the judge (Lozić Željko - SRB) completely ignore critiques, at least verbally, let alone in writing, but he judged very hastily and superficially. At this level of show, this seems rather unique. The final rounds in particular, when he almost did not know whom to call into the ring, were very strange. It cannot be compared with some foreign shows or club shows. From time to time, the organizers should consider whether exhibitors do not deserve a slightly more accommodating approach for their money.

12 June 2022 - XXIV International Dog Show Kraków
This show was attended together with Aura’s breeder, Katka Švarcová, who also handled her in the ring. The Irish judge Fallon Clodagh awarded her the rating Excellent 2.
5 June 2022 – KCHLS Club Water Work Trials Švábenice
These trials were not actually planned at all. Táňa (18 months) was being prepared for the aptitude test – breeding test (OVVR), but before it was possible to register, all the places were taken. Training with game in water and reeds was therefore intensified. Táňa rose to the challenge. Considering that a month earlier she still refused to take game in her mouth, she really surpassed herself and enjoyed it immensely. So it was decided to try the higher-level trials straight away. In addition, Aura came along as well, taking the place of Katka Švarcová’s bitch Limit, who was in heat. Aura had already passed the water trials twice, but each time in 2nd prize. There was nothing to lose, the idea was that she could either improve her result or at least get some good training.
The results, however, exceeded expectations: Bethany z Panisádku (Táňa) – 2nd prize, 117 pts Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura) – 1st prize, CACT, 154 pts
The trials took place in very warm weather, which was partly reflected in the dogs’ willingness to work and their fatigue. Táňa dropped to 2nd prize only because she exceeded the time limit when searching for a duck in the reeds. For her very first trials ever, she did incredibly well. The goal was clear and it was achieved – hunting usefulness and the final step towards breeding approval.
Aura, as an experienced matador, enjoyed the trials. By winning the breed she gained her second CACT working champion certificate. Perhaps at the next trials it will finally be converted into the title.
4 June 2022 – Regional Dog Show Zbraslav
A delightful piece of news arrived from Pavel Slavík, who took our bred dog Alfréd z Panisádku to their debut show, where they received a wonderful critique from judge Zdeňka Jílková and the following result in the open class: Excellent 1, class winner, regional winner. Warm congratulations to both of them!
16 May 2022 – Aurelia z Panisádku is going to be a mom
It looks like the first puppies from a female of our own breeding are on the way. Aurelia (Maya) was mated today with the beautiful male Aragon Miraliss. Wishing the owner, Lenka Rozsypálková, that everything goes well and they manage it all, so that in two months’ time everyone can look forward to beautiful black puppies.
7 May 2022 - IHA Oberwart Austria
The international show was attended with Táňa and Aura. Flatcoats were judged by Croatian judge Maja Horvat. Táňa received a rating of Very Good 2 in the intermediate class and Aura achieved Excellent 1, CACA in the working class. It was a lovely show and the departure was full of satisfaction.
15 April 2022 – big family Easter gathering
On Good Friday a big flat-coated family gathered here. Bernadetta met five of her puppies. Bereta (Mira) came from Prague, Bibiana (Fany) from Hodonín together with her older friend Béďa. Also present were the home girl Bora and our Bethany (Táňa) with the returnee Benjamin (Buck). Our Aurinka completed the pack. It was quite fun; there was a lovely walk and a photo shoot, which was taken care of by son Štěpán.
11 April 2022 - we have a new champion!
Aurelia z Panisádku (Maya) received the rating Excellent 2, res. CAC in the working class at the international dog show in České Budějovice, thereby fulfilling the requirements for the title Czech Champion. Maya has thus become the very first champion in the history of our kennel’s breeding! Warm congratulations and thanks go to her owner, Lenka Rozsypálková, for the time, patience and consistency she devotes to working with Maya, both in the show ring and in the field. Their achievements bring great joy and it is expected that their collection of titles will continue to grow :-)

9–10 April 2022 – Special Retriever Show RK Hope and Treasure Královice
At the two-day show in the beautiful grounds of Královický dvůr, both our girls and our offspring were presented. On Saturday, in the junior class, Cecilka z Panisádku made her show debut and handled it very well. She received an Excellent rating from judge B. Heering (DK). On Sunday, it was Bereta z Panisádku (Mira) who appeared for the first time in the junior class. She was noticeably more nervous due to the large number of dogs and people, which slightly affected her presentation, but even so she did well for her first time. She received a Very Good rating from judge A. Nielsen (DK), the same as our Bethany z Panisádku (Táňa) in the intermediate class. The last to be shown was Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura), who received an Excellent 3 in the winners class. Despite the very cold weather, the show, which was excellently organised, was thoroughly enjoyed together with friends. Many thanks to the owners of Cecilka, Beatrice and Miloš, as well as to the owners of Mira, the Bečvář family, for taking the time and allowing the puppies to be presented. With a bit more practice, maybe next time there will be some medals as well :-)
16 March 2022 – Benjamin’s Return
Not everything is always perfect, whether in human life or in a dog’s life. Today, after 14 months, Benjamin (Buck) has returned to us. In agreement with his owners, who had to say goodbye to him for serious family reasons, we exercised the right of first refusal in the contract and took him back, with the intention of trying to find him a new home where he would be at least as happy as he has been so far. He is a wonderfully sweet, strong and confident dog who immediately formed a nice, trouble‑free relationship with our girls. He is very curious about everything, likes people and children; it is a bit more complicated with males of the same sex, but it only requires patience and consistency. He was used to constant company and close contact with his owners, so he is a bit dependent, but we are already working on teaching him to be more independent. He has mastered basic training, and further development will not be a problem. If we do not manage to place Buck with a suitable family in the near future, he will probably stay at home :-)
5 and 6 February 2022 – Duo Cacib Brno
At this show there was, on both days, the largest presentation so far of dogs bred in this kennel. From the A litter came Lenka Rozsypálková with Aurelia (Maya), from the “B litter” arrived Pavla Bednářová with Bernard. The biggest representation was from the latest C litter – Cyráno, Cora and Cristian (Chucky). They were joined by their mum Aura. A very nice impression was certainly made, which was reflected in the successful evaluations. The show was thoroughly enjoyed, the youngsters gained their first experience, which surely encouraged them and their owners to attend further events :-)

8 January 2022 – 17th Brno National Dog Show
At today’s show, Táňa and our A-litter offspring Maya, owned by Lenka Rozsypálková, were presented. Under judge Kristina Vaníčková, Bethany z Panisádku (Táňa) received the rating Excellent 2 in the junior class. Aurelia z Panisádku (Maya) fought in the working class and achieved Excellent 1, CAC.
6 January 2022 - we lost Iwy
Today a very sad message was received from Pavlína Marková of the Falaksa kennel. The mother of our Bernadetta, Multi Champion Sweet Illusion z Grodu Hrabiego Malmesbury - Iwa, has left forever. During her almost 12 beautiful years of life (31 January 2010 – 6 January 2022), she earned countless titles and awards, including Show Bitch of the Year 2011, JBIG, BOB, BOV, CACIB. She was an exemplary mother of three litters of puppies.
4 January 2022 – X-ray Examination of Táňa
Today, after some time, the veterinary clinic of MVDr. Milan Snášil CSc in Brno was visited again, this time with the youngest girl Tánička (Bethany z Panisádku) for a joint examination, which is mandatory for potential breeding approval and may be carried out no earlier than at one year of age. A clinical examination of the patellas and X-ray images of the hip, elbow and shoulder joints, performed under light anesthesia, showed excellent results. As the doctor said, Táňa’s joints are absolutely top-notch! There is great joy and satisfaction that all the females have their musculoskeletal system in excellent condition.
Autumn Photoshoot 2021 - Models Táňa, Aura, Berny
24 October 2021 - OVVR Rokytno
Today a joyful piece of news reached us – Bernard z Panisádku, at just 11 months of age, successfully passed the hunting dog aptitude test – OVVR in Rokytno, achieving a beautiful score of 192 points. Warm congratulations to the owner, Pavla Bednářová, and best wishes for many more successes!
September/October 2021 – Táňa’s Show Experiences
After giving birth, Aura will need a long time to get back into show condition, and Berny was “two-coloured” after the summer, so only Táňa could gain experience at shows in the junior class. On 28 September she took part in the Club Show of Retrievers at WDS 2021 in Olomouc, where she received a “very good” rating from Norwegian judge E. Bekkelien. The following week we headed to Slovakia, to the beautiful grounds of the Ekopark in Veľké Úľany, where the Special Retriever Show was held. There, Táňa received a nice critique and the rating “excellent 2” from Slovenian judge A. Pokorn. This year’s show season was concluded in Poland, where on 16 October we travelled together with Limitka of K. Švarcová from the Čerešňa Lipov kennel. At the national show in Krakow, Táňa received a “very good” rating from Hungarian judge G. Tesics. She was slightly penalised for not yet having a perfectly aligned jaw and teeth. Unfortunately for us, the judge is a dentist :-) Otherwise, he liked Táňa very much.
25–27 September 2021 – meeting of the “B” litter siblings
The three-day trip to visit the puppies began on Saturday in Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, where the other owners also arrived with their charges, and everyone was given shelter by Beatrix’s owner, Kateřina. A very lovely day was spent, made special by a hike to Ondřejník, which, besides us and our three girls, was enjoyed by Pavla with Bernard, Lenka and Petr with Borynka, Kateřina with Bea, and Honza with his daughter Julinka and their Baron. Everything was rounded off with an evening campfire and reflections over a glass of wine :-). On Sunday morning we set off for Prague, but on the way we still managed to visit our female from the first litter, Arinka (Astrid z Panisádku), in Dolany near Šternberk. After spending the night at our son’s place in Prague, on Monday we visited another of our offspring, Benjamin – Buck, in nearby Černolice, at the Renelt family. Some of the puppies were actually seen for the first time at ten months of age, and it had to be acknowledged that they are growing into beautiful individuals. Great thanks are due to their owners for the exemplary care and love they give them!
23 September 2021 – “Pražanda” visiting us
The plan is to meet most of the puppies from the first two litters over the long weekend, including those living around Prague. It was quite a surprise when, this Thursday, Mr and Mrs Bečvář from Prague announced they would visit us with Bereta z Panisádku (Mira). They are on holiday nearby, so they were warmly welcomed not only by us, but especially by our girls. A beautiful afternoon was spent together and there is already great anticipation of meeting again at some show, because Mira is a very pretty young flat-coated lady.
18–19 September 2021 – Trip to Visit Our Litters
After the puppies left for their new homes, there was finally a bit of time to catch up on everything that could not be done before summer. The trip finally led to Suchdol nad Lužnicí in South Bohemia, where the “B” litter girl Barilla z Panisádku, called Belinka, lives. It was actually the first opportunity to see her eight months after she left. She has grown into a lovely young lady, is doing very well and is being incredibly pampered by the entire Górny family, to whom heartfelt thanks go for the very warm welcome. The whole pack came along on the trip. The girls enjoyed not only beautiful walks and swims with Belinka, but also their first overnight stay in the campervan at the campsite in Třeboň. They handled everything perfectly. On the second day, on the way back, there was a stop in Telč and, after a short walk and lunch, the journey continued to Šašovice near Želetava, where the dog from the first litter, Alfréd z Panisádku, lives. Together with his owner Pavel Slavík and their small but vigilant female Saša, a shared walk was the chance to talk about Alfréd’s achievements, work and future plans. The weekend was very enriching both for the humans and for the girls. Time to regain some strength, because the next long weekend will be even more demanding!
4 September 2021 – National Show Floracanis Olomouc
The open-air show was once again attended with the now junior girls, Táňa and Borinka. In the ring, both presented themselves nicely and received almost identical evaluations from judge Zdeňka Jílková, although only verbal ones – Bethany z Panisádku VG3, Bora z Panisádku VG2.
8 August 2021 – Club Show RK Horka nad Moravou
In addition to our nine‑month‑old Táňa, a 2.5‑year‑old Besinka (Arabeska z Panisádku) from the first litter was also taken to the show. On site there was also a reunion with Mája (Aurelia z Panisádku). This show has so far become the best presentation of the kennel. Besinka, in the open class, and in strong competition, received the rating Excellent. Mája was, for the first time, handled by her owner, Lenka Rozsypálková, and in the working class she took first place with the rating V1, CAC. And Táňa topped it all. At only her second show, in the puppy class, the Croatian judge M. Fičko liked her so much that he awarded her Very Promising 1, BOB Puppy and, in the finals, BIS Puppy. A very pleasant day was spent at the show together with friends and fellow breeders, and the journey home was made in complete satisfaction. Thanks for these results go above all to the owners of the girls from the “A” litter, Lenka Rozsypálková and Vlastik Grabec. There is a strong hope that these will not be the last successes of Panisádek offspring. One more beautiful success must be mentioned, namely the sire of Aurinka – Luckýsek (Caci´s Dark Chocolate of Love). Even as a nine‑year‑old veteran, he is in such condition and has such vitality that he rightfully won by a landslide with the BIS title, even ahead of much younger dogs! Warm congratulations to Bětka Vrublová!

1 August 2021 – Special Club Show KCHLS Humpolec
On Sunday, our two little girls from the “B” litter had their show debut. Together with owner Lenka Vašíčková, we took Borinka and our Táňa to their first show so they could experience and absorb the atmosphere of a big event and start getting used to the ring. In the puppy class, the girls placed third and fourth with nice critiques and a rating of very promising from judge Radim Kašpar.
21 July 2021 – Argo at his birthplace
Today brought a special visit. Argo z Panisádku came with his owners, the Šmíd family from Prague, to see the place where he was born two years and four months ago. He met his mum Berny again, as well as Aura, and Táňa, whom he saw for the first time. He has grown into a beautiful, strong dog with an incredibly calm and friendly nature. There is hope for another reunion soon, whether here or in Prague.

10 July 2021 – Aurelia z Panisádku wins the Club Autumn Trials
On Saturday, Lenka Rozsypálková brought tremendous joy with wonderful news. Her two-year-old female Mája – Aurelia z Panisádku, from our first litter, became the winner of the KPZ in Zábřeh, organized by the Retriever Club of the Czech Republic. In competition with 18 dogs, she claimed victory by earning the maximum number of points, in 1st prize with the CACT title. The owner deserves great congratulations, recognition, and huge thanks for the patient work and effort invested in Mája. There is hope that similar news will follow in the future and that this success will motivate further excellent work with Mája.
20 June 2021 – the last moments before birth
Aura on the 60th day of pregnancy. The heat does not suit her much, so we have shortened walks to the bare minimum for necessary potty breaks. Aurinka is resting more and more, spending most of her time cooling down on the tiles in the kitchen. The due date is Thursday, 24 June, but it seems it will come earlier. Even the vet said she might hurry up a bit, given the temperatures these days. So she has to be watched closely now.
10 June 2021 – Aura is approaching the finale
Our expectant mom Aurinka is on day 50 of her pregnancy today, which means she will give birth to puppies in 14 days. So far everything is going normally; she is already taking it easy, is more sensitive, and we are gradually shortening her walks so she doesn’t exert herself too much in this heat. She has dug herself a den under the neighbor’s fence where she probably wants to hide her offspring :-) In the meantime, we are slowly preparing her space with a whelping box and everything needed so that we are ready.
15 May 2021 – joint training of kennels Čerešňa Lipov and z Panisádku.
For this Saturday, a joint meeting was planned for the siblings of litter "A" from the Čerešňa Lipov kennel of breeder Katka Švarcová and the girls from the z Panisádku kennel, in Ratíškovice. The weather forecast was closely watched, as it looked more like April weather. Fortunately, it rained before everyone arrived, so the rest of the afternoon turned out beautifully. Katka brought Flavour, Motion and young Limitka, and Tomáš Kypěna with Kimi arrived together with his brother Karel, who documented everything and edited a beautiful video. And all the girls Táňa, Aura and Berny were brought out. Marking, feathered drags and work in deep water were practiced. Táňa only watched and soaked up the experience :-). Everyone enjoyed it immensely and the day ended with a get-together under the pergola. There is already great anticipation for the next joint training.
24 April 2021 - Dog/Bitch of the Year 2020 RK CZ
Another lovely piece of news arrived today. Our Aura - Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov placed a beautiful 5th in the Bitch of the Year 2020 poll, organised by the Retriever Club of the Czech Republic, with the highest number of working points of all flat coated retrievers, including males. The poll was won by her sister Flavour and another sister, Motion, finished in 8th place. Overall, the Čerešňa Lipov kennel achieved a wonderful 3rd place in the kennel rankings. Huge congratulations to the breeder Katka Švarcová for such a success, especially in a season heavily affected by Covid restrictions, when many shows and trials did not take place.

22 April 2021 – Aura’s Mating
On Tuesday 20 April, on the tenth day of her heat, Aura had her progesterone level tested, with a result of 7.2 ng/ml. On the vet’s recommendation, we set off on Thursday 22 April to visit the stud dog in Štípa near Zlín. Vinie – Veni Vidi Vici Black Brianta was excited about Aura, and she about him, so the mating was successful. Now it is a month’s wait to see whether expectations will be fulfilled and puppies will be on the way. Many thanks to Hana Havlíková for providing Vinie.

28 March 2021 – starting training with Táňa
Slowly but surely, obedience training is starting with the youngest member of the pack, Táňa (Bethany z Panisádku). Both individual training and pack training are being tried. Recall works perfectly, even from play and other distractions (so far :-)), sit and heel are also handled well, as is walking at heel. Next, the command stay will be tried.
19 March 2021 – DOV Examination
Today Aura underwent an eye examination for hereditary defects at a specialized ophthalmology department of the veterinary clinic of MVDr. Trnková in Brno. The result is excellent: Aura’s eyes are free of hereditary defects, including goniodysplasia.
27 February 2021 – courtship
Before the government managed to close travel between districts, a special visitor arrived – the suitor of our Aura and, hopefully, the future father of her “C” litter puppies, the beautiful working dog Veni Vidi Vici Black Brianta (Vini), owned by Hana Havlíková from Zlín. We spent a lovely afternoon together; the introduction and courtship took place in a playful spirit, including retrieving, with Venouš always chivalrously letting Aura keep the dummy. So it looks like everything is settled, and now it is just a matter of waiting until Aura is ready :-)
18 January 2021 – introducing a new member of our flat-coated pack
All the puppies have scattered off to their new homes. One brown girl stayed at home with us – Bethany. We will call her Táňa. Today she tried riding in a car for the first time, got her second vaccination, and is becoming the third female in our kennel.
16 November 2020 – we have puppies!!!
On the eve of the national holiday, Bernadetta and Enzo welcomed 9 beautiful puppies in litter "B" – 4 brown, 2 black girls and 3 black boys. The birth went normally, lasted about 8 hours, and it looks like all the puppies and their mom are healthy and doing well.
1 November 2020 - Autumn Photo Session
On Sunday, the beautiful weather and also the free time of her son Štěpán (photographer) were used to capture her beauties. Together with Aura’s mother Arwen, the sisters Flavour and Motion, and little Limitka, breeder Katka Švarcová from the CHS Čerešňa Lipov kennel also came along. The photos, taken in the beautiful surroundings of the Horky nature reserve, are considered to have turned out very well.
1 November 2020 – 48th day of pregnancy
Time flies, Berny is getting nicely round and the puppies inside her are growing. There are only 14 days left until the birth. We go for fitness walks, Berny rests a lot, she would eat anything she finds, and she is digging dens in the garden, so these are the classic signs of the approaching birth of puppies.
11 October 2020 - OVVR Traplice
On Sunday, Arabeska z Panisádku (Besinka) - 18 months old - took part in the retriever aptitude tests in Traplice, organized by Eva Hromádková. She did an excellent job and finished overall in 4th place with 229 points, nose 4. There is great joy and thanks for the handling and preparation go to her owner, Vlastik Grabec, with the hope that this will be a wonderful motivation for him to train for higher hunting tests.
27 and 28 September 2020 – Club and Special Show of the Retriever Club in Kelč
We did not go to the two-day show to exhibit only our Aura, but we also arranged with the owners that we would present two girls from our “A” litter – Besinka and Mája (18 months). These were their very first shows and they did extremely well. Paradoxically, all three received exactly the same evaluations on both the first and second day of the show from judges Radim Kašpar and Darina Mervová. With this, Mája fulfilled the last condition for breeding eligibility. The shows were a success, even though the weather misbehaved a little. There was another opportunity to meet many friends and wonderful people. It is a pity that, given the Covid measures, this was probably the last such event of the year.
Arabeska z Panisádku (Besinka) – 2x Excellent in Intermediate Class
Aurelia z Panisádku (Mája) – 2x Excellent 3 in Open Class
Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura) – 2x Excellent 3 in Working Class
17 September 2020 – Mating of Bernadetta with Enzo
Everything happened incredibly fast. We were not expecting Berny to come into heat at this time at all. According to her usual cycle, it was supposed to happen in January of next year. However, Aura brought her into season with her, so Bernadetta joined in just when we were on holiday in Šumava. We were not prepared for it at all, had no stud dog chosen, etc. Nevertheless, things moved quickly, we arranged with Lenka Smutná for a mating with her dog Emotion in Motion Black Brianta (Enzo), measured Berny’s progesterone levels twice and set off for Větřkovice. The mating and the tie went absolutely perfectly, flawlessly and at exactly the right time, so there is hope that in mid-November brown and black puppies of Bernadetta and Enzo will be welcomed into the world.
13 September 2020 – Retriever Club Special Show RK SK Veľké Úľany
The show of the Slovak Retriever Club took place in the beautiful surroundings of the Eco Park Veľké Úľany. Aura received the rating V1, CAC in the open class from the Italian judge Alessandro Zeppi. With this result, she fulfilled the conditions for the title Slovak Beauty Champion.
5 September 2020 - Autumn Trials Třebelovice
This Saturday, our homebred dog Alfréd z Panisádku took part in the autumn trials for pointing dogs and other breeds in Třebelovice, organized by OMS Třebíč. With a total of 214 points, in 1st prize, he won the trials!!! Huge congratulations go both to Alfréd and to his handler and owner Pavel Slavík, above all for managing to prepare the dog so excellently for the trials at such a young age. Wishing perseverance and motivation for further work. It brings great joy!
1 September 2020 – Albert z Panisádku – X-ray examination.
The very first day of September brought great joy thanks to a dog from the first litter – Albert z Panisádku. He underwent X-ray examination of the hip and elbow joints and patellar luxation at the clinic of MVDr. Snášil in Brno with a wonderful result of HD A/A, ED 0/0, PL 0/0.
29 August 2020 - KCHLS Club Show Humpolec
On Saturday, the trip led to the club show in Humpolec to show Aura. The pleasant was combined with the useful, because after the show the journey continued with Aura and Berny on holiday to the Šumava mountains.
In the working class Aura received the rating excellent. In the competition of 9 bitches in the class she could have been on the podium, but the coat preparation was slightly underestimated. The coat was open on her back and nothing could be done about it anymore. Judge Mrs. Z. Jílková also described it in the critique – “the overall impression is spoiled by wavy coat on the back.” Next time it will be necessary to be more thorough, because every detail really matters. Especially when the working class was, according to the judge as well, extremely strong and even.
25 and 26 July 2020 – 5th Prague Retriever Derby – Divoká Šárka
For the first time, the decision was made to take part in the demanding two-day trials – the Prague Derby, organised by KCHLS, in the beautiful surroundings of Divoká Šárka. The Autumn Trials were held on the first day, and the Water Work Trials on the second. Aura already has both, but the aim was to improve the score, so the goal was set to complete everything in 1st prize. This was achieved on Saturday at the KPZ, with a total of 206 points. She did very well. On Sunday it seemed likely that fatigue would show, but the opposite was true, Aura was very eager, to the point there was concern about managing the first discipline – steadiness at the water station. She handled all the tasks with ease, always opting for certainty rather than risk. Only one mistake moved the result to 2nd prize. During the blind retrieve of two ducks she was so impatient that she set off before being given the command. The final result was 13th place out of 21 dogs, KZVP with 130 points. There is definitely room for improvement, but considering Aura is only two years old, she is clearly off to a great start.
It is also worth mentioning the great atmosphere and the wonderful group of people met at the trials. There is already anticipation for the next meeting. :-)
18 July 2020 – Club Forest Trials KCHLS Kopidlno
We set off for Kopidlno, specifically to the Bučický mlýn guesthouse, already on Friday afternoon so that we wouldn’t have to leave early on Saturday morning and Aura could be properly rested for the demanding day ahead. The guesthouse can once again only be recommended. Beautiful surroundings away from civilization, dogs welcome :-)
On Saturday Aura did brilliantly throughout the entire trial. Without any major hesitation she managed demanding disciplines such as stalking, work on the blood track, searching and tracking of furred game, the stay and steadiness at the stand. Her work on the blood track was rated by the judge with a four with a star, as one of the best ever. And that was in very challenging terrain! Out of 15 dogs, only 9 finished the trial and only one in 1st prize. We were moved to 2nd prize by a mark of 2 in searching. So we officially finished in 4th place with 242 points and with a feeling of complete satisfaction that we made it!
As soon as we published the results, our acquaintance, Mrs J. Nešporová, drew our attention to a change in the regulations, valid from 11/2019, where a mark of 2 in searching is set as the limit still for 1st prize. I did not realize this fact at all during the trial. Therefore, the day after the trial I raised a query with the organizers, and they agreed with me, saying that a mistake had been made in the overall evaluation of the ranking, for which they sincerely apologized and corrected the results. So not only was Aura moved to 1st prize, but she was also announced as the winner of the trial with the CACT title!!! Such a result had not even crossed our minds. Many thanks to Mrs Nešporová for her attentiveness and for pointing it out :-)
With this success Aura also passed the performance test – tracking of hoofed game.
July 2020 – A Little Rest :-)
In the second week of July we had a holiday, so we set off to see how life is going for our two girls from the first litter, Besinka (Arabeska z Panisádku) and Mája (Aurelia z Panisádku). At 15 months they have grown into beautiful flat-coated ladies, they are in training and there is already excitement about seeing them in the show ring. In the following days, together with friends and our girls, we headed to the Beskydy Mountains, specifically to the Apartments U Honzy in Pstruží, just past Čeladná. The accommodation for dog owners can only be recommended, it was perfect. A few lovely days were spent in the area running around the hills, climbing Lysá hora and Skalka, and visiting the ruins of the castle in Hukvaldy. A return visit is definitely on the cards.
6 July 2020 – Regional Retriever Show Horka nad Moravou
Today the trip was to the Regional Show in Horka nad Moravou. Besides Aura, the kennel was represented by its own bred dog, 15‑month‑old Albert z Panisádku in the intermediate class. It was his first “adult” show. He handled it well even in the heat and, most importantly, received a nice critique from judge Z. Jílková with the grade excellent 2.
Aura received the grade excellent 3 in the working class.

27–28 June 2020 – Weekend Training in Vracov
This weekend, under the guidance of experienced trainers Mirek Varga and his Slovak colleague Janko, intensive training and practice with Aura focused on the disciplines that will soon be required in the upcoming performance exams. On the first day she worked fantastically; on the second day, fatigue was noticeable, also due to the warm weather. Nevertheless, it seems there is excellent preparation for a demanding July, which will bring the club forest trials KLZ and the Central Bohemian Cup – KPZ and KZVP.
21 June 2020 – Club Autumn Trials Chlebovice
This Sunday Aura and the handler took part in the KPZ in Chlebovice near Frýdek-Místek. The weather was against them, it rained heavily all day. They were prepared for that, but had absolutely no idea how Aura would cope. Training had taken place even in bad weather, but this was an extreme. There were concerns about how she would manage the drags and other scent disciplines, as well as retrieving, because the game was completely soaked through. Surprisingly, she handled the most difficult disciplines brilliantly, even though she adjusted her grip on the game a few times while retrieving. Unfortunately, a rather silly mistake during heelwork sent them into 3rd prize. Nevertheless, the trial was completed even in such weather, bringing more valuable experience. Three more demanding trials await in the coming month, so there is hope that all the hard training will pay off. :-)
7 June 2020 - OVVR Traplice
Today there is another reason for great joy, because Aurelia z Panisádku (Mája), at 14 months of age, successfully passed the natural ability test - OVVR - in Traplice with a full score (232 points). She did very well and there is great pride in her :-)
Congratulations to the owner Lenka Rozsypálková and there is hope that this will be a great motivation for both of them for further training and the development of Mája’s skills.
24 May 2020 – OVVR Babice near Šternberk
Last year in June the aptitude tests had to be cancelled because Aura came into heat exactly on the test date. So in September we did the Retriever Water Work Test (KZVP) instead and thus fulfilled the breeding conditions, which meant we actually no longer needed the OVVR. However, at the last minute we signed up for Babice when we found out that two of Aura’s siblings – Flavour and Kimi – would also be taking part. We therefore saw it more as gaining further experience and training in a different environment than the one we are used to. At the moment we are preparing for the club autumn and forest trials. Aura handled all the disciplines brilliantly and finished with a full score as second out of 14 participating dogs, and only because she was born earlier than the winner with the same number of points.
Flavour and Kimi also managed the disciplines well and both passed. So the Čerešňa Lipov kennel had a very successful Sunday :-)
6 May 2020 - Aurelia from Panisádek - X-ray examination
Today, wonderful news arrived from Žlutava. Aurelia (Mája), from our first litter, underwent hip and elbow X-ray examination in Brno with MVDr. Snášil, with excellent results. Her joints are exemplary - HD A/A, ED 0/0. Together with her owner, Lenka Rozsypálková, there is immense joy!
26 April 2020 – Visit to Arturek in Čeložnice
On Sunday afternoon, we set off with the girls to nearby Čeložnice to visit our bred dog, Artur z Panisádku. We went for a walk together, which ended with a long play session in the local pond. All three of them really enjoyed themselves in the water. On the way back across the fields, they of course managed to roll in the dust, so when we got home, we had to go into the water once again. Many thanks to the owner, Jana Pavlušová and her family, for a lovely afternoon and for all the love they give to Artur!
27 March 2020 - We Celebrate Our 1st Birthday
Today the puppies from our first litter are celebrating their 1st birthday. We wish them lots and lots of health. May they enjoy plenty of joy and love with their owners, to whom we are incredibly grateful for the loving care and attention they give them.
23 February 2020 – joint training in Ruprechtov
Immediately after the winter holiday in the mountains, the invitation from Katka Švarcová for a joint training in Ruprechtov was accepted. After a longer time, there was a chance to meet Aura’s siblings again. Archie arrived with Martina, Kimi with Tomáš and his brother Karel, Katka brought Flavour and Motion, and there was also Berny. The group practiced searching, marking, feathered drags, and tried stalking and steadiness at the post. Preparation for the next exams is slowly beginning, so the joint trainings will continue.
2 February 2020 - DUO CACIB Brno
Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov - Aura, open class, rating excellent 3rd place. Our bred dog André z Panisádku also took part in the show. From the Austrian judge Hana Ahrens he received the rating very good 3rd place in the junior class. He is still a bit “unfinished”, he needs to gain muscle and develop his figure. For now he is gaining experience; at the next show it will certainly be excellent already :-)
25 and 26 January 2020 – IDS Nitra – CACIB FCI
An international dog show in Nitra was attended with Aura. On Saturday, judge Tesics György (HU) awarded her Very Good 1 in the working class. On Sunday, in the intermediate class, she received Excellent 1 from Slovak judge Tibor Havelka, but without the CAC title. So the Slovak championship will have to wait a bit longer.
11 January 2020 - 15th Brno National Dog Show
Today at the National Dog Show in Brno, Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov - Aura received the award Excellent 1, CAC from judge Ing. J. Jindřichovská. She is currently in great show condition, so hopefully it lasts :-)
23 November 2019 – Visit to the last two brothers from litter "A" in Vysočina
Finally it was possible to visit the last flat-coated boys from litter "A". This time the trip led to the Vysočina region near Třebíč, where the first stop was the Novotný family farm. Besides “our” André, they keep two more flat-coated retrievers and nine Friesian horses!!! Antík (that is what they call André) has also developed a love for horses, as can be seen in the video. He seems to be in very good company :-)
Afterwards the journey continued a short distance to Želetava, where Alfréd lives with the Slavík family. He, too, enjoys the pleasant company of a young female dog, Sašenka, so there is certainly no chance of boredom.
It was reassuring to see that the puppies are well looked after, receiving excellent care and plenty of love from all their owners, for which there is heartfelt gratitude. There is also the hope that this was not the last meeting and that there will be many more occasions to get together and watch the puppies grow into beautiful adults.
2 November 2019 – Visit to Arinka in Dolany
On today’s All Souls’ Day we once again went to visit one of the puppies from our first litter – Astrid z Panisádku (Arinka) in Dolany near Olomouc. She is the last little female we had not seen yet, so we were excited to see what she would look like. She is very beautiful and calm and brings nothing but joy to her owners. Many thanks to them for the care and love they give to Arinka.
26 and 27 October 2019 - Bratislava Danube Cacib
A nice success was achieved at the international show in Bratislava. On Saturday, our homebred Albert (7 months) was presented at his very first show and immediately with success. Aura (16 months) scored on both days and obtained her first CAC.
26/10 - judge Bojan Mataković (HR)
Albert z Panisádku, puppy class - very promising 1
Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura), intermediate class - excellent 3
27/10 - judge Hana Ahrens (AT)
Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura), intermediate class - excellent 1, CAC
On the way back from the Bratislava show, we stopped in Trnava on Saturday to see how our other little girl from litter "A" is growing – Agáta z Panisádku (7 months). We spent a beautiful autumn walk with her, Lila (her three-year-old Labrador friend) and our dogs. Her owners take wonderful, loving care of her, and Agátka repays them with her devotion and her big Flat-Coated Retriever heart.
20 October 2019 – visit to the puppies
At last a freer weekend came up, so some of the owners of our six‑month‑old puppies were contacted to arrange a visit and enjoy some time with them. The puppies are already big and growing more beautiful. A very lovely and fulfilling Sunday afternoon was spent together. There is already anticipation for visiting the others.
5 October 2019 - KCHLS Club Show Prague Džbán
In the damp and rainy Saturday weather, the club show in the Džbán camp in Prague took place. Aura (Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov) was shown for the last time in the junior class, which had the strongest competition of all classes with 13 entries. This made the judging by Austrian judge Susanne Höger all the more surprising for everyone, as she awarded an excellent rating only to the first four bitches in the line-up. The remaining nine, including Aura and her sister Flavour, were graded as very good! The slightly bitter aftertaste was at least sweetened by the outstanding success of their brother Kimi (Always Happy Čerešňa Lipov), who obtained Ex1, CAJC, BOJ, BIS Junior, meaning he won the entire show in juniors – and it was his very first time in the ring!!!
Aura’s, Flavour’s and Kimi’s parents also achieved excellent results:
mother Arwen Tia Vrbovecké stráně – Ex1, CAC, father Caci´s Dark Chocolate of Love – Ex1, CAC, Prague Winner, BOS and BIS – overall winner of the entire show!!!
20–22 September 2019 – Weekend in the Javorníky Mountains
A beautiful Indian summer weekend was spent with the girls in the fresh air of the Javorníky Mountains. On Saturday the route followed the ridge trail Čertov – Portáš – Malý Javorník – Kohútka, and on Sunday the trip continued in Velké Karlovice to Kyčerka, Podťaté and Tísňavy. For those travelling with dogs, the accommodation is worth mentioning and highly recommending. The stay was at Hotel Javorník in Čertov in the village of Lazy pod Makytou, on the Slovak side of the Javorníky. Spacious rooms, an elevator, excellent food and very kind and helpful staff. Dogs were allowed everywhere, with a price of 5 euros per dog per night. It seems like a place to be gladly revisited.
15 September 2019 – Club Water Work Trials for Retrievers – KZVP CACT in Čelákovice
On Sunday, both females took part in the club “water trials” in Čelákovice – Sedlčánky. Aura, handled by Bohdanka, at just fifteen months old and the youngest in the field, passed the trials excellently, apart from a few minor details that placed us in 2nd class with 122 points. We missed 1st class by only 7 points. With this, little Aura fulfilled another step towards breeding eligibility and passed her working trial, so she is now qualified for hunting.
Bernadett, unfortunately, was disqualified, partly due to a mistake on my side. Now it is clear that taking risks for a better score does not pay off and it is better to play it safe.
Next time the training will be even better and there is hope to be competing for a place on the podium :-)
8 September 2019 – RK Club Show in Horka nad Moravou
On the second day of the weekend we headed to the club show in Horka nad Moravou. There were incomparably more representatives of the breed here and we met almost our entire flat family. Our ring was judged by the excellent judge K. Nieminen from Finland, who is, by the way, a Flatcoated Retriever breeder. Her critiques were highly professional, extensive and fair. This makes us appreciate even more the excellent results that everyone achieved:
Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov (Aura) – excellent 4
Active Flavour Čerešňa Lipov (Aura’s sister) – excellent 1, CAJC, BOJ, BIS junior!!!
Arwen Tia Vrbovecké stráně (Aura’s dam) – excellent 1, CAC, CC, Horka winner, BOB, res. BIS!!!
Caci´s Dark Chocolate of Love (Aura’s sire) – excellent 1, CAC, CC, Horka winner, BOS
Gargamel Oasis of Peace (sire of our puppies) – excellent 2, res. CAC
7 September 2019 – National Dog Show Floracanis Olomouc
After a longer break, Aura and her owner set out to gain more show experience, this time at the National Dog Show in Olomouc. Only two FCR bitches were entered in the junior class. Judge Tibor Havelka (SK) had some minor reservations about Aura, who in his opinion still seemed a bit unfinished in some parts, so she received the grade Very Good 2. The paradox, however, was the ban on using treats in the ring, which is a big problem for retrievers, especially young ones. And that was clearly visible in the ring :-(
15 August 2019 - X-ray Examination Brno
Today our Aura (Authentic Love Čerešňa Lipov) underwent an X-ray examination for joint dysplasia at the Veterinary Clinic of MVDr. Snášil in Brno with excellent results - HD A/A, ED 0/0, patella luxation 0/0, which made us extremely happy, as she has fulfilled the first condition for breeding approval!
25 May – Club Show RK Brno – Žebětín
On Saturday, the club show took place in Brno – Žebětín. The excellent news is that all of Lucky’s daughters (Dark Chocolate of Love Caci´s) placed wonderfully in the junior class. Aura received Excellent 3 and a beautiful critique from judge Ann-Christin Johansson.
13 April 2019 - MVP České Budějovice
On Saturday, Aura and her handler took part in the International Dog Show in České Budějovice. They brought home their first “Excellent” in the junior class, awarded by judge MUDr. Eva Felszéghyová.
10 April 2019 - Training in Bosonohy
Although most of the time is taken up by caring for the puppies, training with Aura and her siblings is not being neglected. Work has begun on retrieves with game. Aura learns quickly and handles everything very well.
24 March 2019 – 60th day of Bernadettka’s pregnancy
The due date is approaching in leaps and bounds, all preparations are reaching their peak, and we have installed the whelping box in one of the bathrooms, which has now turned into a small delivery room. Bernadettka immediately understood who it was prepared for and at once started getting acquainted with her new bed. We now only go on very short walks with her so that she still gets an appropriate amount of exercise. The weather has allowed us to soak up some warmth and a few rays of sunshine for the puppies. Now all that’s left is to wait. Fingers crossed that everything turns out well!!!
9 March 2019 – training with Mirek Varga in Brno
Since the beginning of the year, almost every weekend has been spent going with Aura to hunting training with Mirek Varga in Brno. From basic obedience, we are slowly moving on to more demanding tasks, such as retrieving using the parforce method. During training, Aura regularly meets up with her siblings – Archi, Motion, Flavour, and Kimi. They are all making huge progress, which brings great joy. Keep it up!
Joint February Photo Shoot
23 February 2019 – Slovak Elite Puppy Show Bratislava
Aura and her owner took part in an international all-breed puppy show. From the judge (Mr. Želko Lozić from Serbia) she received the grade VP 1, with the title Slovak Elite Puppy Winner. It was her last “puppy” show; next time she will already be competing as a junior in the youth class.
25 January 2019 - We Have Mating Confirmed!!!
On 9 January, the first signs of Bernadettka coming into heat were noticed. On Monday 21 January, the twelfth day, the first progesterone test was done. The result was 1.6 ng/ml, indicating the beginning of hormonal changes. On Thursday 24 January, the value of the morning test was 11.9 ng/ml, so in the afternoon the trip to Frýdek-Místek was made for mating with King owned by Bětka Vrublová. The next day, Friday 25 January, the mating was repeated. Now there is only hope that the third time will be successful and that there will soon be puppies to look forward to.
12 January 2019 Haná National Dog Show Brno
On Saturday we took part in the Haná Show in the puppy class. We also met two littermates there, Art and Flavour – the latter in a non‑competing role as an observer :-) Art received a beautiful VN1 rating from the Slovak judge, Mrs. Ludmila Fintorová, and Aura received VN2. We are already looking forward to the next shows.
9 December 2018 – Advent joint training
Today there was another meeting in Ruprechtov for a joint training of the puppies, who will soon be six months old. Obedience was revised and instructions were given on how to train retrieving. After the training, Aura and Berny played so wildly that they had to be bathed at home before they were even allowed inside. For little Aura it was her very first bath and, so exhausted after such a demanding day, she fell asleep on the couch, even though she is not allowed on it. Just this once, there was some tolerance. :-)
10 November 2018 - Aura’s Show Debut
Today little Aura, accompanied by Bernadetta, had her show debut. They took part in a regional club show in Kelč in the puppy class, receiving a lovely critique and the grade Very Promising 2 from judge Pavel Šulc. Aura handled everything well and, despite the endless six-hour wait, which she spent getting to know new dog friends, she presented herself very nicely.
13 October 2018 – joint training
On this beautiful autumn Saturday, we took part in a joint basic obedience training in Ruprechtov with four-month-old Aura, together with her littermates and some adult Flats. We also brought Berny along. The puppies definitely enjoyed it and did very well. Looking forward to the next session.
22 August 2018
Within 14 days I made friends with Berny, got vaccinated and gained almost three kilos.
6 August 2018
The first photos of Aurinka after acclimatizing to the new environment in our garden.
5 August 2018 Aurinka in her new home
On Sunday morning we went to Ruprechtov to pick up our little girl. She lovingly said goodbye to her siblings and her mother Arwen, who gave her one last lesson in good manners, and then we set off on our way. As soon as we arrived home, she had to get to know our Bernadetta and her new surroundings. It seems she handled it brilliantly; she didn’t even feel lonely during the night. So there is hope she will like it here.
29 July 2018
Today is a very important day for this kennel. As has already been mentioned, after the unsuccessful attempt with its own litter of puppies, the decision was made to get another female for breeding and a buddy for Berny. The choice of kennel was clear from the very beginning. Therefore, when it became known that Katka Švarcová from the kennel Čerešňa Lipov was planning the first “dream” litter with her Arwen, she was contacted right away and there was immense happiness at being able to reserve a little girl.
The puppies were born on 13 June – 7 males and 5 females. Everything went well and everyone, including the mother (Arwen Tia Vrbovecké stráně), is in good health. It is a joy to watch how lively they are and how they are growing like weeds.
Of course, the proud father of this beautiful litter must also be mentioned. He is the excellent dog owned by Bětka Vrublová, “Lucky” (Caci´s Dark Chocolate of Love), from the kennel Oasis of Peace.
And today is the long‑awaited “D‑day”, the day of the visit to choose one puppy from those five beautiful little girls. The decision was not easy at all, because each of them had her own charm, but in the end the yellow lady was chosen. There is already great excitement about bringing her home in a week:-)
Her name will be AURA
25 February 2018
Today, in full health, beauty and excellent condition, little Bernadett celebrated her 4th birthday. Congratulations also to the other siblings from litter "B" from the Falaksa kennel.
4–5 November 2017 International All-Breed Dog Show Prague Expo Dog
This weekend was spent at a two-day international show in Prague. It was the first show of the year and also the first in the working class. The plan for this year included club shows and other events as well, but since Berny had a large patch of fur shaved on her side after an ultrasound examination, it was necessary to wait until it grew back and her appearance was once again suitable for presentation.
Saturday 4 November 2017
In competition with four bitches we finished with a result of excellent 4, but still with a beautiful critique from the Swedish judge Carina Östman: gorgeous long head and expression, excellent neck and topline, excellent shoulders, upper arm somewhat steeper, excellent rear angulation, excellent body, strong bone and coat quality. Only in movement did she find a few faults: narrow movement of the hind legs, somewhat loose movement of the front legs, nice side movement, excellent temperament.
Sunday 5.11.2017
We were not as satisfied with the second day of the show. The Finnish judge Viveca Lahokoski found Bernadetta too big, saying that she was losing a bit of the breed type, and awarded her the rating very good 3. However, she again highlighted her head, good neck, well-shaped chest, bone structure, beautiful coat and good parallel movement from behind. Hopefully next time will be more successful. :-)
October 2016 autumn photoshoot
The last beautiful October days were used to photograph Bernadetta during training, both on land and in the water.
Club Autumn Trials RK Ježov 10 September 2016
Berny passed with 197 points in the 3rd prize (nose 4) and qualified for hunting utility. It is a pity about one spoiled discipline; we could have been in the 1st prize. But that is how it goes: what is absolutely mastered gets messed up, and what seems doubtful turns out excellently. The main thing is that it is done!!!
OVVR Březolupy 5 June 2016
As part of the training and preparation for the KPZ, the OVVR tests in Březolupy with Eva Hromádková were repeated once more, achieving a result of 185 points in the 2nd prize.
National Dog Show Ostrava 9 April 2016
